Then I see posts of dudes practically busting a nut over buying some worn jordans for over $100 acting like that's a steal. SMH. I don't eat people's leftover food and I don't wear previously worn shoes.
I just bought two pair of lightly used 8s and I don't give a ****

Also, according to your logic, you must only date nuns, who have no sexual history, because I'm pretty sure at least one girl you've been with were someone else's leftovers, lol, stop it. I bet you'd dip in some previously worn ***** though SMH

Getting a lil' overly sensitive aren't we now.

If you're happy with buying used jordans, then congrats on your purchases. But how you gonna compare gettin yams to wearing sneakers?

The same way you compared wearing sneakers to eating food.

Caress this "L".

P.S. LOL @ "overly sensitive" but you just got emotional over other people being content with spending their money however they choose Hahahahaha

You must not know how to read too well do you? I said I don't wear used shoes and I don't eat leftovers. That's 2 separate rules that I abide by. Ain't no comparison there.

And nah I ain't getting emotional at all. It just concerns me when my black brothers and sisters out here ain't getting enough money and have to resort to buying other people's used/worn sneakers just to try and appear "fresh." Tsk tsk....what has become of our urban communities

Hahaha you don't even know words that create a comparison or example. If it wasn't an example why would you randomly bring up food on a sneaker forum when no one was talking about leftovers? Just accept that you lost. You tried to play people that buy "pre owned" kicks and played yourself.

Who said that was the reason they do it? You're assuming that's the reason. I haven't heard one person on this forum say they buy used kicks because they're broke and want to look fresh. So now anyone who doesn't buy an item brand new is broke hahaha, you're on your way fam.

I never knew net worth was based off of what purchases we make. It concerns me when Black people are still lost.

DreamTeam, there are some instances where buying very lightly used or VNDS shoes is absolutely necessary particularly in the case of 10+ year old shoes. You just have to do your due diligence and make sure you're paying the right price for used product - no different from buying a used car or used anything, the exception being real estate.

I do agree that dropping $800 on a worn pair of 'South Beach' Lebron VIIIs that have changed owners at least 5-6 times in 3 years is flat out stupid but $50-$100 on a pair of once-worn shoes that an older cat has completely forgotten about or simply has no time to wear is just being a savvy consumer.

I'm gonna co-sign TimShepard and say that broke cats ain't buying used sneakers to look fresh. Those dudes will max out credit cards and lines of credit first - it is what it is.

I could buy brand new 8's, but for what when I can buy a pair that has been barely used for more than half the price? But I was going to use your point, sneakers that are so old that 95% of them on the market are used.

Just like a used car, if the previous owner maintained it, it will run good. Same with sneakers. Most of my sneakers are brand new, but if I find a banging deal I'm not about to have so much pride that they necessarily have to be brand new.

If you don't do it, fine, but don't go around saying whoever does it is for the sole purpose of trying to look "fresh" to cover up bring broke, Lol. That's ridiculous.

If he was talking about people going broke to look fly, Id be all for it, but you're ranting about people who like deals? Foolishness lol
