They shouldn't even put people that would harm a child in prison give em to me let me get a storage unit and a $2000 gift card to Home Depot and I'd take care of it.

A few days later, after seeing those photos everywhere, I told my boy "that kid is not alive..." .. Yall need to smarten up on how this world works, the innocence of a child is a valuable thing & there are some cold people out there hunting for that. That's all I'll say. RIP [/COLOR]|I

autism ain't no joke.
kids with it are often uncared for by our education system.
teachers don't know how to handle/teach autistic kids.
so it's very difficult for them to socialize properly as it takes a lot of training.
granted ASD/Aspergers is a vast spectrum disorder and each and every kid depending on the severity of the condition is different.
Some navigate through life better than others. Heck I mean we're just now improving diagnosis for the condition, I'm sure a lot of people in the past grew up not knowing they were autistic or an aspie.
It's sad because a lot of these kids struggle just trying to communicate with others but are actually quite smart. We as a society have failed these children royally. This should've never happened and I hold the schools accountable. The fact that this happened AT school? Inexcusable. Absolutely inexcusable.
COMPLETE disregard and ignorance of the faculty/security not realizing that autistic kids are often flight risks.

Drowning is the number one cause of death among autistic kids. It seems pretty obvious what happened to him. People really think someone would mutilate a 14-year old kid who just so happened to be wandering alone? That is a somber outlook.

I was at the "camp" the family had up in front of the school Avonte went missing from and got a chance to briefly speak to his father and brother. My heart goes out to the family.
If the body they found is Avonte, then I'm glad the family has some kind of closure.

I really don't want to believe that this is some sort of sick coincidence. What are the chances that he wanders out of school into the arms of a psychopath? I feel like he was lured out of school somehow.
