The official DC Animated movies thread

Finally watched both movies.

Trapped in Time was alright, nothing special.

War was good.

@ TMZ and True Blood being mentioned; so random.

Green Lantern was getting sonned left and right.

Cyborg was all in his emotions.

Super Man had Wonder Woman open. You could almost hear her panties getting moist when they met for the first time.

Her dude even peeped the situation at that ceremony at the end of the movie.

Looking forward to Son of Batman.

Watched War, pretty good. Still don't like that new costume design for WW or how the mask designs for flash/cyborg/batman have that chin part that sticks up.

War was dope!! You know superman bout to smash all over the galaxy

Gotta catch TiT next

Watched the first 20 minutes of trapped in time. The story and some of the characters suck.

:smh: @ Grant Morrison for what he did to Damien.....

Batman and Robin the father/son team was mad dope.

"Trapped in Time" wasn't that good to me...the animation seemed too "kiddy" to me...

will wait to watch JLW...

Is Darkseid usually that gigantic? I remember him being smaller in other cartoons.

WW's thirst tho.. and Shazam reminds me some of NTers when it comes to girls
Imagine WW doing kegal exercises while ur inside :wow:

Brah

dude at the end was SO salty about WW and Superman

Steve Trevor. I do believe they'd tie it all up in a squel or something as Trevor is part of the Amanda Waller led JLA team.

:smh: @ Grant Morrison for what he did to Damien.....

Batman and Robin the father/son team was mad dope.

The Grayson and Damian team up was awesome as well. Those 2 had great chemistry together. Brought the lulz all the time.

Is Darkseid usually that gigantic? I remember him being smaller in other cartoons.

I think so. He really should be that big. You're also right though, I think he was also smaller in the JLU cartoon.

Might as well change this thread to an official DC Animated Movies thread.

Justice League: War, DC's animated adaptation of Geoff Johns and Jim Lee's initial Justice League arc, is set to be the first (of many) films in DC's new shared animated universe.
War's producer James Tucker had this to say about how the film will affect future of DC's animated universe:

This will definitely be the first salvo in doing new movies that are in continuity with each other, our next movie's going to be 'Son of Batman,' and that Batman will be the same Batman that you see in 'Justice League: War.' Basically, we'll have two concurrent series of Justice League movies and Batman movies, and they'll be in continuity with each other. So it's kind of world-building.

According to Tucker, the plan at this point -- which he advises is "always subject to change" -- is to produce three animated features a year, two in the universe of "Justice League: War," and a standalone, separate from continuity. In 2014, the third scheduled animated feature is "Batman: Assault on Arkham" (directed by "Justice League: War's" Jay Oliva), which takes places in the world of the massively popular "Batman: Arkham" video games.

This doesn't mean that Warner Bros. Animation is limited to New 52 stories for the in-continuity releases -- they'll just be adapted to fit in the framework established by "Justice League: War," as in the case of "Son of Batman," based on the "Batman & Son" story by Grant Morrison and Andy Kubert from 2006.

We can do original content, we can do New 52 stuff. I still want to do 'Gotham by Gaslight.' 'Red Son' would be a great one to do as a one-off.

Just finished watching JL War. Pretty good but didnt understand why it was another origins story. No Martian Manhunter either....

As the article I posted above, it's pretty much to start a one linear universe with future movies and reset it all and introduce the New 52 universe too.

It also makes sense after watching Flashpoint.
