I don't know what fools said he was going to be the GOAT

Yeah
That's a bit of hyperbole but he's not a GOAT trajectory anymore

Based on what?
He's no Fitz.
Two years ago Fitz was washed and had a big cap hit. Dude was coming off two injury plagued seasons AND he was on a horrible team putting up 800 yards a year.
Cardinals got a new GM, renegotiated his contract and he's flourished every sense.
Take note Calvin we got a new GM and that Good Cooter is sticking around.
Please don't retire.
No receiver, not Larry Fitzgerald, Randy Moss, not Jerry Rice has put the numbers in Calvin Johnson has in their first 9 years in the league.
And all he has had is Matt Stafford(aka White Dante Culpepper) throwing him the ball.
Wasn't until his 8th year in the league until he played with a another 1000 yard anything. Receiver or Running Back.
#Goat.

Right, only 4 other QBs besides Matt Stafford have ever thrown for over 5,000 yards in a season. He's no Tom Brady!
Careers don't end after 9 years so he has a long way to go to be the GOAT of anything
Right now he's the GOAT Detroit Lion receiver
Calvin Johnson is somewhere in that 20-25 range if he retires today
Decent career, probably gets in the Detroit Hall of Fame
