It's the pistons...for some reason no matter who is on that team they own the wizards...will bynum must love playing us

But you guys are right Smith Drum and Monroe are an impressive trio of Forwards/Center. But i said this earlier we are not deep at all especially in the front court. No Nene and no Gortat = booker Jan seraphin.....thats not good. And if nene gets hurt which almost seems a formality each year.....we will get our first round pick back

We said the Ariza thing last year...dude is literally built like Paul George and has a similar skill set (less athletic) but just disappears for half the games during the season

Will be excited to see Wall vs Michael Carter-Williams next. Evan Turner looking good too but everybody gets up to play miami.

MCW was on point last night. If he proves his consistency within the next 15 games, I'm a believer.

Anyways, the Wiz were off the entire night. Bynum was out hustling Wall whole time. His shots and layups were not going in. Beal shot a lackluster 33%. If our brightspot is Ariza every night, we have a problem. Nene was demolished inside defensively. I'll stop, but this is just a single game out of a long season *says optimistic skins fan*.

Based off the box score, Gortat was impressive, no?

Yeah...he was pretty good in limited minutes on offense. For a guy who probably didn't really know too much about what to do, I'd give him a a solid "B" for his debut.

Nene on the other hand...my goodness :smh: Dude looked SLOW and out of it. He needs to be much better going forward.

I'll chalk up his struggles as mostly being overmatched by the Detroit frontcourt. He should have an easier time getting in a grove on Fri vs. Philly.

*Corner 3 is a thing of beauty. It's there all the time when Wall drives.

Im not sold on MCW his jumper is fishy, like dude up top said everyone gets up to play the Heat

It ain't even a matter of being sold on him or not. He's a good player. I'm just afraid he's going to have to live up that one game name now because he instantly just became the "rookie of the year" and a future all star to alot of folks

Said this in the NBA thread...but people ain't learn from Brandon Jennings? That 55 point game had people talking real reckless.

Is there an NBA player who is more obviously in it for the money than Nene??

I don't even think the guy cares anymore, his mind seems to be somewhere else. He will probably retire the day his contract is up.

I'm looking around for it, but does anyone remember the quote from Nene saying he didn't touch a basketball this summer?

On top of it all, how out of shape does he look? Dude could easily stand to drop about 20 pounds. Gotta think that losing the weight would be extremely beneficial to his feet/knees.

I'm growing tired of this guy. Highest paid player on the team and no one knows what he can bring on a nightly basis. THey are better served putting this fool on the shelf, and rolling with Al Harrington as the starting 4.

Nene looked AWFUL last night. Just awful.

Plus the comments he made about Brook Lopez roughing him up in the paint "Just plays physical. I’m not that kind of guy."

And him complaining about how he doesn't want to play C because it's too hard.

And the whole thing with him being all emotional and crying in Brazil..

Maan.. a lot of things are adding up to make me believe dude is *****made :smh:
The sad thing is I thought he would be a stabilizing veteran presence for us, I never heard about him having any of these issues in Denver. But in reality he's coming across as unprofessional and a poor teammate.

**** Nene.

I'm in here this season though. I have a love/hate relationship with the sports/training forums. But **** it. Lets have a good season

Thanks for finding that.

Agreed. Money done changed him.

I was really in shock while watching him last night.

I seriously hope that Seraphin can make some progress in his development. If he has another stinker vs. Philly, bring him off the bench and start either Seraphin or Al Harrington. It's really pathetic.

At least Okafor was consistent and brought some sense of pride/hustle/leadership.

I hope Nene doesn't rub off on Gortat and foster some sort of soft carefree environment for the team. :smh:

I'm in the building tonight...I'll be the freshest ***** in the building.

You prob will, cuz with the rain and that first L, aint nobody got time to get all dolled up for the wiz...

I'll be in there in some sweats, some USA Lebron 8's and a hoodie... Can't beat half court uppers (row B) for a dub each...
