Statement win tonight? Drew Gooden was COOKIN tonight!! Hopefully we can keep this momentum rolling...

Drew and Al took over in the fourth and stole that win. Nice emphatic dunk to cap the W by Wall.

Coming back from down 10 against one of the hottest teams in the League is a good thing to build on. Old Wizards would have packed it in

we rolling

In hindsight im glad we didnt trade for Harden, feels good to have this type of success without a legit superstar

Let's hope John wasn't out partying all night with Cousins and he comes ready to win.

I think the Wiz can finish with 45/46 wins if they stay healthy and hungry.

Wizards in a giving mood.

Wall shouldn't be taking those FTs at the end at the game like he is automatic.

Blowing an 11 point lead with minutes to go against the Kings? Nothing was the same.

We deserve to lose this one.

- 1 for the team as a whole for giving up a double digit lead in the last 3 minutes

- 1 for John Wall for blowing the game at the line

- 1 for Trevor Ariza getting his *** cooked by Rudy Gay at the end of the 4th and all of OT

I don't even wanna watch this trash anymore man.. taking a break from games for a while

The stench of failure just looms over this franchise. Wittman HAS to go

Just out of curiosity i think it was brought up in here before...and after last night....why didn't we ever make a run at Aaron Brooks?

Just can't shake the feeling that Larry Brown will be coaching this team next year....

I really like how Jeff Hornacek has molded his team in Phoenix. They play hard defense and get after it. The Wizards could use someone like that. He actually knows how to draw up plays as well.

Wouldn't mind seeing one of the Van Gundys or a coach that is good at developing younger players. Wittman just puts the team on auto pilot.

Larry Brown is definitely not leaving SMU for the Wizards next year when he has the best player and best recruiting class in school history coming.

Yeah, it's not like Larry Brown to leave a team in the lurch and jump ship for personal gain.  *cough*

And what exactly would he be gaining leaving by leaving SMU to come to the Wizards?

His top assistant makes $700K so you can speculate yourself on what he's pulling in. He literally stole a top 2 recruit from the grasp of UK and Kansas.

He's about to turn SMU into a powerhouse. Leave that to come coach this Wizards team?

Again...doubt it.

Let me preface this by saying that I don't want Larry Brown to coach the Wizards.  At all.  This is the first time I've heard his name in connection with what we all HOPE will be Washington's coaching vacancy this summer.  We can do better.

That said, we can't sit here and say that it's not in Larry's nature to leave his current job for the right offer.  Is the Wizards job the right offer?  Probably not, if Ted's previous hires are any indication.  We've still got Flip Saunders' son on staff.

For enough money, Larry Brown would leave his family.

Larry Brown has to stay at SMU because...  he has a one and done player coming in and the chance to be good for a year in college?  Why is that better than coaching a playoff bound NBA team with one or more All Stars?

Having a good team is just leverage for Larry Brown.  If he's gained enough juice to get back into the league after getting booted off a Bobcats team owned a by fellow UNC alum, that's all he needs.  What, if he leaves SMU now he'll never get a job that good again?  Suddenly SMU is a better situation than Butler was when Brad Stevens left?

I don't think the Wizards would make Larry Brown the type of offer he'd want in order to leave, but I'm not going to pretend that Larry Brown would never ditch his current dance partner if someone more attractive came along - and I refuse to believe that, with the one and done rule in college, ONE good recruit is more attractive than a multi-year NBA head coaching job with a playoff team.

We came HORRIBLY to start the third, a total lack of effort from everyone. John has had that stroke from three lately, if that's here to stay then the rest of the league better watch the **** out.

As long as we get the rebounds (we've been letting them get offensive boards since near the end of the second), limit their three point opportunities, and be more aggressive on offense, then we'll be alright the rest of the game. I know that sounds obvious, but we sure as hell was letting them do whatever to start the quarter.

John Wall sucked pretty bad last night but since the AS break he's been shooting 48% from the floor and 46% from deep (on 4 attempts per game).

Bradley Beal's last 5 games

37% from the floor, 42% from deep, 63% from the line

Beal doing his best late-career Nick Anderson impression :smh:

We're probably going to end up over .500, but as either the 6 or 7th seed.

I actually want them to stay locked into that 6th seed...provided Toronto stays at 3rd.

They don't scare me nearly as much as they do everyone else. I don't care what our season record is vs them. I'd rather see another young team that plays up and down like us then to see veteran squads like Chicago or Brooklyn...no matter how challenged they are offensively.

We're definitely not gonna be able to hold on to the sixth seed at this rate. Team just can't put it together for an entire game to save their lives .

Ugh, not only are we gonna get killed by Miami but playoff tickets are gonna be even more expensive if we play them

At least we fought back being down 25 :smh: Beal was struggling out there and it was pretty obvious.

Sadly looks like we are destined for a 7-8 seed now
