Official 2013-2014 Boston Celtics Season Thread (10-12) @ BKN

I was gonna PM you to see if you were going to start a thread soon :lol:

Im excited for this team this year :pimp: Theyll obviously be a 7-8 seed at best, but theres so many young guys on this team I want to see take their games to the next level and/or establish themselves as promising young players in this L.

Sully, Olynyk, show me what you can do at the NBA level.

Jeff Green: this is your time. Expecting 20ppg and explosive moves to the rim on the regular. I want to see him agressively grabbing boards and playing tight defense at all times.

Avery Bradley: stay tough on defense and get some regularity/consistency in regards to knockin down outside shots. Shoot like you mean it.

I WANT Rondo to stay but thats really up to the front office. He has expressed that he's ready to take on a leadership role, but we'll see what his demeanor is when he returns and the C's are 10 games under .500 :lol:

Finally, excited for Brad Stevens and what he's going to bring to this basketball team. I think its an awesome hire but i will reserve judgment until about 20 games in.

Probably just going to be Finns, myself, and a few other heads posting in here :lol: Deadset doesnt rock with the Celtics :smh: :lol:

Lets get this W tonight. My main focus will be on the Sox game but ill be switching back and forth :smokin
 
This team will be nice in 2-3 seasons..

Rooting for Pierce and KG to get the ring.

Celtics gon be 8-10 seed.

Hopefully they end up being a lottery team.
 
Nice to see Jeff have a nice game. Sully comes back for the next one. Meh, no huge expectations so the loss doesn't hurt.

I'm actually excited to see this season. I'm expecting good production from Kelly Olynyk and Avery Bradley to finally make that push offensively and finally get the defensive recognition that he deserves.

I hate Jordan Crawford. Please trade, waive or cut him.

Can't forget that Celtics tickets are super cheap now! More trips to the Gahden!

I want them to get a good shot at the #1 pick but at the same time, i want to see them do well and i for damn sure want them to win tonight .

Like I said before, I want a high draft pick, BUT, its hard for me to actually want them to lose while watching :lol: :lol:

Plus i so badly want Jeff to tear **** up on a nightly basis :pimp:

Jordan Crawford is a pretty good player. He's liable to chuck it every so often but he takes care of the ball, has good court vision and passing ability especially in tight areas, is obviously confident with his jumper, and he hustles.

Kelly Olynyk - i feel the Celtics havent had a guy who cleans up boards and also does so many other things well. He's passing, getting papers, knocking down 15 footers, running the floor with the guards etc.

If Avery Bradley can continue to shoot well and with confidence, we all know what type of player he can become. Right after a bucket drops for him he assumes defensive position instantly. Opposing guards cannot sleep with Avery glued to them.

So much potential and young talent on this team :pimp:
 
Coach Stevens be looking tired as hell in his pre game interviews :lol: He's puttign that work in no doubt :pimp:

Kind of expecting an L tonight but id love to see Sully cook again. Always excited to get a good look at Rubio :nerd: He's fun to watch.
