Way too many turnovers. Stretch 4s are going to give us TROUBLE. Offensive tempo wasn't great. Garcia carried us through some lulls, harden closed it out.

Those TOs were awful, and can't have that against the top teams. That rebounding though :x Had everybody's normal shots gone down combined with those rebounds, no telling what the score would be. On to the Mavs Friday folks.

The Houston Rockets have picked up contract options for both Terrence Jones and Donatas Motiejunas for the 2014-2015 season. Jones put together a solid preseason before suffering an injury, as he had averaged 7.5 points in 25 minutes in 4 games. Motiejunas, on the other hand, showed signs of his upside, but continues to remain inconsistent, as Omri Casspi seems to have taken over the backup power forward spot. Still, his skill-set gives him a high potential to become a productive NBA player, which is why general manager Daryl Morey continues to be high on him.

As sloppy and horrible it was, they pulled away from the Hornets with such ease.

Not going to harp on the troubles they have or repeat the others have mentioned above as I agree wholeheartedly.

One thing I'm sold on is keeping Asik and the Twin Towers set up, sure stretch 4's are going to

be a problem but those two dudes are going to wipe the glass night in and night out.

That's something I'm looking forward to when Playoff basketball rolls around...

definitely keen on keeping asik now if they can continue playing like that. they both really need to start hitting some damn ft's though. every game counts in a tight west up top and that ft shooting is bound to cost us a game every now and then.

Agreed. You can tell he's been working on it, nice arc.

As usual, with DH12 and Asik playing together, Asik gets no looks offensively and just stands there. But like a said, their only out there about 15 mins a game together. This season is going to be fun. So many line up options with our bigs and our players that can play multiple roles.

Garcia doing work, but with this season, i see Mchale just playing the hot hand. Beverly works well with Harden, but Lin isn't that far off. Beverly starts for now, but Lin will get more minutes.


Ready for Friday's game against the Mavericks. Bought 42 tickets for my group, Section 407. Friday game, against an in-state rival, place better be rocking.

It was pretty dead inside Toyota Center tonight.

Besides the turnovers tonight, pretty solid effort. Garcia was money, Lin's jumper is beautiful, Dwight and Asik cleaning the glass, all led to a W with below average performances from Beard and Parsons.

Take the W and move on.

I'm still waiting to see a replay of the Howard "foul" the fail McRoberts dunk attempt. Can anyone gif that?

Hopefully Beverly is alright, I haven't checked any injury reports or anything. Lin was looking good! Garcia was great off the bench!
Gonna be a great year!

I hate how Asik is just standing on the baseline everytime we get Dwight post touches. I feel bad for the dude

Mchale should at least get him to set off-ball screens to free up Parsons/Harden

Speaking of plays, I like that Harden to Howard alley, they put a wrinkle in with the Harden Iso/hold the ball until the last second to shoot play that almost always never works.

Looks like I need a larger pitcher for Mavs fans' tears too. My current pitcher is overflowing with Laker fan tears. And they're all delicious .
