I was a fan of Asik other than his whining when Howard came. Dude was a bull and great defensively. Just putrid offensively, agonizing watching him not finishing at the rim. He improved his FTs ALOT here though :lol:
 
he was good, and his cap figure was great for his value, but we can't afford him and dwight. he had to go. i wont miss his blocked layup attempts at the rim. dude lost his vertical every time he crossed court from defense to offense.

also, i love daryl
 
Morey always finds a way to get lucky around times like this. I expect something big to happen if everything goes like he wants.

Not sure why everyone seems like the goal is to get melo and lebron. Daryl saw something in James and signed him to a max deal for a reason after trading for him. Besides it doesn't make much sense to let james go for melo considering carmelo is 30 and will be on the decline towards the end of his contract while James will continue to get better and is younger. Either way Daryl has us in great position to make a run for either one and im sure he will pull something off.
 
if we are guaranteed to get lebron by giving up harden for melo, daryl does it in a heartbeat. it puts you in immediate contention for a championship for at least 3-4 years.
 
You have to also consider dwight came here to team up with James and Co. what if he becomes upset that James is shipped off so fast and wants out himself? Im all for giving up james for Lebron thats a no brainer, but james for melo just does not make sense to me even if it means we "might" land Lebron, I would need a guarantee before pulling that move off. Don't be surprised if we land Bosh or Kyle Lowry either(if we strike out on melo and lebron). Daryl was very high on Bosh before he signed with Miami and we need a solid PF he also saw something in Kyle when he traded for him a few years back after the grizzlies gave up on him. As far as Lowry and Mchale go i read a article where Kyle discussed how he regretted leaving on bad terms here and that he wishes he could do it over again.

Getting excited and hopeful about what might happen this summer. Still gotta find a way to get rid of Lin though and then we'll see how everything else plays out over the next couple of weeks.
 
Lin still has to be moved, so whether or not Switzerland's Greatest Export stays or not, we'll still have a good amount of space
 
Nick Johnson's definitely an interesting pick. I'm laying in wait just incase him and Swiss Mister get the Jeremy Lamb treatment :lol:. Kinda wish we drafted that 7'2" dude Atlanta drafted. A backup for Howard is as much of a priority as another star is here.
