**Official Isaiah Rashad Thread Vol: TDE New Signee // "Cilvia Demo" EP Out Now**

After listening to Cilvia Demo I'm gonna go ahead and say Isaiah got next
Bold statement...but have to disagree.

The way TDE seems to be doing business over there Rashad will never get a real look for a long time

Q will probably flop, in the grand scheme of things...and slow down soul's release.  Then Kendrick will have to drop something to salvage TDE, just off hype.

If Rashad gets a buzz off this project from mags and such (which I think he will) he'll be aight. I doubt soul's release is as close as they're making it out to be but TDE seems to move based off of the speed of your following. I think Cilvia is going to catch steam now that it's released.

this feels like a better Overly Dedicated

I always thought O.D. had kdot's best work minus two songs on GKMC ( Money Trees, Sing Bout Me/ Im Dying of Thirst).

Isaiah is one or two co-signs away from being a someone. I remember paying 15 bucks to see kendrick headline shows in LA or opening up for Little Brother when he was a nobody. Then, over night he's on stage crying with game kurupt and who else was on stage that night? lol

Isiah has IT, i think. The hook on West Savannah is incredible and something i could here being played on the radio all day. And, no need to go into how he be killing s*** lyrically (the last verse on Heavenly Father).

WIth Q's album bout to drop, and they going on tour together, i hope his tape doesnt get forgotten and collects dust, hes too too real and too himself to no make it

Yo! I just streamed "Cilvia" and this demo is flawless! 10/10. Isaiah got next, y'all. Ima download this joint when I get home. Jokes aside, there's no weak or average joints on here. Either good or great. :pimp:

I agree with @HennesseyBeach. Q will flop sales wise but I don't think his label expects him to do numbers anyway. It's not like his radio/TV singles are charting. All his label probably wants are the magazine and blog coverage on how great "Oxymoron" is. As for Isaiah, he's clearly in artist development mode right now. This excellent tape is a great way to spread his name across the net. Hopefully it'll catch on fire like "Acid Rap" did.

Some songs he sounds like K. Dot and others like Q. That aside, the project was solid.

EDIT: Oh yeah, the sample on "Cilvia Demo" is "Feel Like Makin Love" by Bob James

West Savannah is so good.

I'm really looking forward to this Schoolboy Q show in March, now.
