^ I'm saying. I wanted EVERYTHING but could afford NOTHING.

I'm go in there sit in one of the massaging chairs and dream about having the personal submarine hanging on the ceiling and then play some mini golf before I bounced :lol: Good times.
 
Aside from local spots like Sound Garden & Record & Tape Traders, Kemp Mill used to be my spot. I remember rushing to Kemp Mill to get The Low End Theory. Used to be my spot for getting CD maxi singles & Euro CD maxi singles...

The media hype was right after all, life did end when Y2K hit :frown: the 90's was just simpler, more personal times. Seeing these stores just bring back memories and moments that just don't exist anymore. Life all around was just better.

i remember my mom taking me for walks, sometimes all day just to get me out of the house when i was around 4-6 and she would always get me a cone from here for the walk back home.

Woolworth Co used to be the parent company of the Footlockers & Champs Sports. Then it was sold to the Venator Group. Not sure who owns them now...
