What's Your Favorite Whisky?

Jameson is my go-to.. You NTers got some good taste :pimp:

Sweet tea with a shot of JD Tennessee Honey is a nice mix. My girl loves it.

im always looking for and trying new whiskeys. cant really say i have a favorite though. although, i do keep a stock of whiskey at the house at all times which includes jw black, jack single barrel, glenlivet, jameson, crown royal maple, and jd honey.

if you really try something new, look into whiskey infusion recipes. ive made peach and cocoa/coffee whiskies. came out pretty darn good

high(er) end list recommended to me

Willett 23 year old Vintage Rye (incredible high end stuff, very expensive but worth it if you're an enthusiast)

Pappy Van Winkle 15 year old (the standard bearer for high end non-Scotch whiskey. Nearly impossible to find outside of Bardstown and high end restaurants)

George T Stagg (underrated and very hard to find, not for *******, the bottle I have is 141 proof)

Elijah Craig Small Batch 12 year old (very nice middle of the road bourbon)

WhistlePig 11 year old Rye (great rye, somewhat hard to find, still reasonably priced at $110/bottle, when this stuff gets more popular it'll be impossible to find in liquor stores and be closer to $200/bottle)

Noah's Mill (another nice middle of the road guy, I don't feel bad tearing through a bottle of this stuff in a month)

Willett 4 year old Rye (best Rye in the world under $40)

Big *** Bourbon (don't be fooled by the name, this stuff is great in the Reasonably Priced category)

Very Old Barton (the best dollar value bourbon in the world. $13 for a bottle of this stuff which is better than most $30 bottles)

Macallan. Only drink it neat

Maker's is my affordable go to ($30 or 40 for 1.75L at Costco). Drink it on the rocks or with Coke

JD was my stuff until I matured. No shots fired

I love me my SIngle Malt Scotch, But I still prefer to shoot JD.
Nothing wrong with shootin some shootin whiskey

It's getting to be scotch drinking season. Too bad it never gets cold or stays cold enough in FL. Nothing like sitting outside and having a scotch on a cold day.

Scotch drinking season is year round :nthat:

If I relied on the weather I would never drink it (LA here)
