yeezy hype will die if kanye takes his line to aididas.
if it's a new design then i can't speak for but if they take the Swoosh out of the Y2 and replace it with an Adidas sign. then im getting 10 pairs.

Kanye and Adidas just doesn't sound right..... It's gonna tarnish the aura around the Nike Air Yeezy

I'm still not believing kanye jumping ship to adidas.

Kanye just seems like he only wants to design at the highest level and going from nike to adidas is arguably a step down.

I mean without counting any other nike line, jordan by itself eclipses adidas in popularity in the sneaker world. Imo

cosign. But I doubt its possible. Nike would sue adidas out of business

Umm you do realize he had a small line of sneakers with LV right? I wish he stick with LV then to do anything with Nike.  At least those resale prices make sense.

Some of you guys need to take a step back and OBJECTIVELY think before posting...

88th I know you ended you thought with "IMO" but come on man you cant really believe that. You actually think JB in sneaker sales/popularity ECLIPSES ADIDAS? The GLOBAL market is not confined to the niché that many of us on NT belong to. I don't mean to single you out either, but come on I know you've got to be smarter than that....

Just like Marks comment about ADIDAS DESPERATELY needing Kanye... Adidas has a stronghold on the biggest sport in the WORLD... Jerseys, footwear, etc.... just that alone would tell the objective thinker that ADIDAS is not in any kind of DESPERATE need of anything. Adidas attempting to expand and reach other markets is not mutually inclusive to the brands immediate survival.

NT has an email notification system for quoting now?

Yall blew up my email.

Anyways you guys are right about all that, but my comment was about the kanye line in general.

yeezys are not sitting on shelves, they are highly sought after. They are in that same category of jordan retros and some nike sigs that sell out without ever hitting the store shelves.
Dont know about other brands but nike seems to own this niche market of highly sought after, exclusive, limited sneakers.
This is the level where the yeezy lies in the sneaker world at least in my eyes.
I dont think adidas has any stronghold in this realm at all.

Adidas may make tons of money in soccer all by themselves and are highly recognizable to the average consumer.
But yeezys mean nothing to the average person.
I dont think those 2 things are comparable.

if kanye takes this line to adidas, then at least in my eyes, its a step down from nike's hype machine and sneakerhead aura of exclusivity.

Adidas= no air bubbles / air technology= big reason people like nike products= cannot replicate the same designs nike develops without their midsoles. If the yeezys are made by adidas the whole entire dynamic of the sneaker will change... Count me out!

Yes, because people purchase Yeezy's to play basketball in.

I think that's more what Nike wants out of the shoe then kanye...

some people won't cop an Adidas x Kanye cuz it's not Nike, and that's fine. but I think kanye wants to make an affordable sneaker with a high fashion level of attention to details. what's the point of that if it's not attainable to most of the people that want it
