Why Australia though???

BECAUSE this is like the game of RISK.... we all know AUSTRALIA ends up winning, SO better to ally them LOL

Here’s how much corporations paid US senators to fast-track the TPP bill

Out of the total $1,148,971 given, an average of $17,676.48 was donated to each of the 65 “yea” votes.

The average Republican member received $19,673.28 from corporate TPP supporters.

The average Democrat received $9,689.23 from those same donors.

These ____s potentially sold a large portion of our freedom for next to nothing, man :smh:

This is all we need to know about this BS deal - "Almost 100% of the Republicans in the US Senate voted for fast-track – the only two non-votes on TPA were a Republican from Louisiana and a Republican from Alaska."

Thanks Obama

If you're quiet you're just as complicit but I wouldn't expect a sws to know that

Republicans are also to blame, but don't leave out your guy. He was all over this deal. He wanted that anti-slavery clause removed.

"The provision, which bars countries that engage in slavery from being part of major trade deals with the U.S., was written by Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.). At the insistence of the White House, Menendez agreed to modify his language to say that as long as a country is taking "concrete" steps toward reducing human trafficking and forced labor, it can be part of a trade deal. Under the original language, the country that would be excluded from the pending Trans-Pacific Partnership pact is Malaysia."

Slave system approval?

Didn't he just give a speech on the horrors of slavery, and slammed what the Confederate soldiers fought for?

I'm still confused on what this all means.

I see the writing, and I'm trying to comprehend it, but it's still obscure to a person that hasn't been following it closely.

Hopefully this thread will make it clearer.

Yeah he also said this when it suited him:

This comic somewhat explains the negative aspects of the TPP. I disagree with some of it, particularly the part about the stimulus package. That stimulus was never intended to go to the average taxpayer. It was a payoff for big bankers. Highway robbery. I don't know if the author is ready to fully accept the fact that both Dems and Repubs are corrupt.

This goes for most people unfortunately. :smh:

Quote from YT
The difference between republican and democrat politicians is like the difference between pimped prostitutes and independent "escorts". The pimped prostitute accepts their theocracy and performs as they're told for whomever they're told to perform. The independent escort follows the money and performs per their best interest dictates, for whomever it serves.

Are you really contemplating leaving the states? I've been giving it thought lately.
