Trinidad James said "The South runs NY" while in NYC..

U like your Maino music I like my Don Logan music, leave it at that, I like u (pause) u got one of my personal favorites as your avy

i don't like all of Maino's stuff, those songs i posted are pretty old. he's got alot of decent stuff though. he doesn't claim to be a super lyricist of some sort, alot of rappers are like that.

maino's music is worst than most because these microwave rappers know what they bring to the table

maino on the other hand is walking around acting like he can really rap and is cold with the pen

in reality people are just terrified to tell em he's trash

worse*

Maino never calls himself a great rapper. If anything, he says he's not a good rapper but neither is anyone else so I can do it too. That's as real as it gets. I like the content of his music. That's just me.

dudes in here speaking on maino's music and never heard a track

and when did security get mixed up with goons

Bieber doesnt have goons he has hired security guards

goons are guys that look like Waka used to standing in the background lurking

I can get with Hood Love, All of The Above, Murdergram, What Happened and a handful of tracks he has with Uncle Murda and Red Cafe. I wouldn't buy any if his stuff, but I check him out here and there.

Ty Dolla is only there for like 10 minutes

There isn't one reason why New York fell off

I didn't get the 9/11 thing at all.

I will say it's radio, record labels, arrogance, following trends, the internet, lack of originality, laziness off the top of my head

I like Maino, but then again I prefer my rappers not be wearing tight jeggings, skirts and crooning.

I thought Jack was just ranting when he started brining up 9/11, club culture, he missed me with all that ****.

But one thing I've noticed about NY rappers and a select few from other cities is when they get dissed, ****** always wanna fight. When somebody tries to physically harm you over a comment you know you got them.

Only thing NY needs to do is make better music AND SUPPORT THEIR ARTISTS. Just go up and down the forums/16 thread list and it's a microcosm of who we support. That's the bottom line, stop blaming all these other factors, get in the studio and bang out hits we all know they're capable of.

Gunplay is my guy, but Young Buck is better than him. I know Straigjt Outta Cashville is almost 10 years ago but come on now

I don't mess with any of Maino's music. I don't even think dude cares about being a great rapper, he comes as a street _ tryna make some legal money.

This. Buck was a beast for a few years.

@Magic1978  @romedadude  I  saw some validity in the statements that Combat Jack made.

Would anybody get made if an artist from any other region takes new york city dark grune, sound/style and make it popular. I know people get mad when they say people steal the south style, but would New York dudes get mad if anybody is running with there style?????

They both serve the same purpose as far as protection goes.

Trinidad got punk'd. Man issued an apology on his own tape. When he had that on air interview wit' DJ Holiday he said "I'm not taking back what I said."

Yeahhh sureee
