Jailblazer era to the fullest. Miss those days when sheed was a freak athlete, before all he could do was jack threes. Final score: 132-106 :smokin :smokin :smokin :smokin

The fact that don nelson didn't call timeout after the 7th alley oop confirms that he too was in awe

THAT TEAM SHOULD HAVE HAD A CHIP! THAT DAMN KOBE TO SHAQ ALLY IN GAME 7 IS VIVID IN MY MIND, HEART BROKEN

They were never the same after that game 7.

Alot of people thought they would dethrone the lakers the following season especially after the lakers had all their drama in 00-01. Portland had the best record midway through that year, won in LA on Christmas but fell off hard the 2nd half of the season and it carried over into the 01-02 season.

The NBA needs to quit all that NBA cares and goody goody crap and bring the Portland jail Blazers back. They were good for basketball. Imagine them in their prime in the twitter/Instagram age. Damon stoudamire posting weed pics, bonzi wells taking pics higher then a kite etc.

lol, it would have been ugly in the twitter/instagram age. but just thinking about that team you had : Zach Randolph, Jermaine O'Neal, Antonio Daniels, Detlef Scremcph (sp?), Derek Anderson, and some other decent players in that era basically riding the bench.
