NFL Week 11 In Review...

I need to watch the full season before properly assessing RG3.
No need to wait that long champ.  I say get started on that right now as the Skins season is over and it damn sure doesn't get any better for you dudes next week.

Edit--

--Jonathan Martin went out like a sucker.

Texans
- Most underachieving embarrassing team in the league. Can't wait for the entire coaching staff along with half the roster to be cleaned out. No one holds themselves accountable in this organization, whether it's pacifying the wrong people, letting go guys you can resign, not getting read of people soon enough, whether it's coaching or players. At least in this case at 2-8, you will surely see a multitude of different faces around here.
- The difference between Andre and Dez is one player is 10 year vet whose done every thing for his team, whether it's being a great off the field charitable guy, continuously restructuring his contract, taking a backseat to other guys, or overall just being a professional. The other has been a problem going back to his college years, and even through great play, has made it painfully easy to keep the cameras on him. If people mention Andre as being "diva like", you haven't seen enough of him, and are more inclined to watch all 6 hours of 1st Take.

Seahawks
- Feel sorry for the teams that have to face Seattle at home. Guys are getting back healthy and clicking at the right time, and it'll be a rude awakening for those teams.
- Russell seems to be the only "running QB" who cares about his health and makes smart decisions. Hmmmmm
- Great to see Percy back and showing why he was signed. All he needs his a lengthy healthy run heading into the playoffs, and it'll be all good. Liked the play from all the WRs in general.

Amazing adjustment by the D in the 2nd half. Division is out of reach (IMO) but apparently the WC is not. That is a sad commentary on the AFC

wow...just looked it up and we're only one game back of the 2nd wild card spot...although we're tied with like 5 other teams for it lol

That last WC spot is completely up for grabs.

Defense is dominant and Dalton sucks. Not much more to say. Crazy to see them continue to play this well without Geno and Leon.

Jets

This team was gassed up all BYE week with the huge win against the Saints. To no show against the Bills the way they did, how can us as fans have ANY confidence in them going forward?

-Bad Geno gonna bad Geno. O-Line's horrible play did him no favors, but obviously the pick-6s are on him.
-Hill is a waste of size. He's been a non-factor, no plays made in WEEKS it seems.
-The Neutral Zone Infraction on 4th and 6 proved to be the game changer. Yet another dumb penalty.
-Dee Milliner is on some Gholston/Ducasse steez out there :x. Can't stand him constantly getting beat as badly as he has been. Sure, he's a rookie, and I'm not expecting him to be Revis, but as the #9 overall pick in the draft, he should be playing extremely better than he currently is.
-If there is anything I want out of this Ed Reed signing, it's his ability to teach the D how to force turnovers. Pathetic how scarce they come :smh: .

Pattern says we win, but realistically, I see us finally having b2b losses next week @ Baltimore.

And yet if we win, I'm pretty sure we remain atop the Wild Card hunt.

Didn't see the Jets play thankfully, Geno jesus christ :smh: His decision making is just awful, just brain-fart after brain-fart. I expect another thrashing at Bmore next week.

Tanking for wiggins still intact :pimp:

Yesterday was a best case scenario for the Texans. Team loses so draft pick improves. Coach does something inexplicably stupid which probably gets him fired.

rex ryan saying, "i'd like to see teams try and hit the deep ball on us now…"

good call, chief

--Props to the Saints. They kept the Niners offense in check all game.

--Personal fouls for hits to the head/neck need to be reviewable. I'm not just talking about the Drew Brees hit -- I'm taking about all of them. I understand that the referees have a hard job and it's better to err on the side of caution, but defenders can't do ANYTHING these days. Every 'high' hit gets a flag thrown, regardless if the defender tattoos the guy in the chest. Until this happens, though, expect more knee injuries. :smh:

--Texans are awful.

--If the Seahawks get homefield, they're going to the Super Bowl. Don't eem care. Team is too scary.

--Kiko with 13 tackles, Byrd w/ 4, a sack, and two picks. :smokin It was against the Jets, tho... so it's not as impressive.

--Andy Dalton = Alex Smith x Blaine Gabbert. Cincy is simply winning on talent at other positions at this point.

--Niners better watch out... Cardinals sneaking up.

--Chip Kelly can't coach in the NFL, but he's leading the NFC East with Nick Foles at QB.

--LOLions.

--If the Giants keep winning and sneak into the playoffs....

--Impressive win from the Broncos, but I can see KC beating them at Arrowhead in one of those ugly 13-10 games.

--Hope Ozzie is OK.

Saying dez has been a "problem" actually kind of shows that you buy into media sensationalism. Dez had the misfortune of being heavily/unjustly scrutinized and getting into alot of minor issues (saggin pants, jewlery loan, etc). And you can tell it was just from being young, immature. He was suspended for a whole year for failing to disclose. Wasn't wrong inherently. Everything aside from the stuff with his mom was just ticky tacky.

Anyway sint then he's ben everything you describe of AJ. Great teammate, plays hurt, professional. If anything with the audio that came out dez is more of a professional. Aj barked at his qb, left the field, then told reporters [ i have to play out my contract, can't do anything about it]

Dez didn't do any of that :pimp:.

-That Shady injury had me so nervous :smh: Nice to see the Birds end the home losing streak. Team is getting better every week.

-Wins against Josh Freeman, Scott Tolzein, Matt Barkely, and Terelle Pryor aren't good enough to convince me that the Giants are good enough to make a playoff push. Let's see if they can beat the Cowboys before we all get excited.

-Denver/KC rematch will definitely be a must-see game.

-Chicago keeping the ball rolling without Cutler :pimp:

-Percy Harvin :pimp:

Though me using the word problem was probably a stretch, I don't need to buy into sensationalism, as I can just watch the Dallas games and remember his college games (or lack there of games because of his suspension). When everyone know's Dre and Dez's reputation, that's how they can get treated differently. Dre set himself up nicely, while Dez dug a hole for himself early on, so even when he is doing something good, he'll get criticized cause they know the foregone conclusion that something bad will happen (sounds familiar). Plus, Romo has been having a good statistical year in relation to Dez. Schaub has been one if the worst QBs in the league. Add on to the fact that Dre mentioned the completely different feel of having Keenum in there vs Schaub, there's no reason to NOT show frustration.

Glad the home losing streak is over.. Even though they did make us sweat it out a little bit at the end

- Man rg3 took a beating.. And they want to go back to running the read option more with him actually keeping it and running.. Gee

- not sure how long rg3 can last taking that kind of beating week in and week out

I'm also impressed KC kept the game as close as it was

And I think most of us understand what andre is dealing with, just like when he gave cortland the business

I love these types of comments.

-Most of the league is under .500.
-Eagles have been beating mediocre teams.
-Our defense is doing work against the run and pass.

Summary: we're beating the same teams your team is beating.

 Probably why he walked off the field.Wanted to put hands on Schabb for being mediocre for all these years

How many guys have dreads in the league? And yet no one before yesterday has ever had a chunk of their locks torn out before?

Andre Ellington definitely rocking them Keef reattachable locks out here :nerd:

 you don't read. My whole point is dez's rep is trumped up. And even though you say you don't buy into sensationalism you clearly do. "The foregone conclusion is dez is bound to do something bad"? Oh so its a given with dez? almost sounds like you're wishing for it.

But you got it, not gonna argue. Its the brady vs cutler/dez leadership argument all over again.

Outside of the Rams, we beat the same teams the Cowboys did. Get outta here clown.

In the first half alone Schiano called a fake field goal, onside kick, went for it on fourth down, we blocked a punt, had a direct handoff to a running back, and our fourth string RB we signed off the street a week and a half ago already had two TD's....

Schiano has been in IDGAF mode for the past few weeks and it's actually worked. Glennon needs to chill though...I don't want our management getting sucked into believing he's our franchise guy and not going out and getting one of these top qbs this year in the draft.
