I think it might grow on me eventually, but seems meh to me so far. hard to differentiate between the S, E, and now C. only main difference will be the size of the cars in real life.

Side profile is also very, very different unlike the 3-series and 5-series which is almost identical.

At the end of the day though, it isn't any different. Audi has done it for decades now and people still adore it.

These cars are all huge now though. Hell the latest 3-series is practically the same size of the older 5-series.

All these cars are gaining in size, of course it isn't going to be the same size an SClass or 7-series but these cars are definitely being made to accommodate fat America.

lol nah man....they still COMPACT CARS....that's what a entry class vehicle is.... a compact version of the mid and full size SEDANS.

Not mad @ cats mobbin compact cars tho....don't effect my bowel movements.

The thing is, it isn't ocmpact anymore and there is now a CLA and 1-series that cost less than the C-Class and 3-series.

Again, these cars are huge now and can be seen as a mid-size. These cars are comparable to a Camry and Accord these days and you wouldn't call those cars compact at all.

I'd have to see it in person, but I'm not feeling it.

Then again, I'm not feeling much of Benz's new line up. Even that new S, to me only the interior is nice.

I see what your saying about the cars being physically longer....

but the C class is a COMPACT CAR......thats its CLASSIFICATION.

You understand the classification system right?

generally you have 3 standard car models....compact, mid-size and full-size.

Camry and Accords are both mid-size sedans comparable to the 5-series and E-class.

Yes I know classification systems are.

That is beside the point, the comment was on "small" cars and this car isn't small anymore even if it is called a "compact". I wasn't arguing it's distinction. You clearly said:

small car always going to be a small car, no matter how many bells x whistles its got.

You did not say classifications in that comment, a small car is a Fiat or Smart car or a Yaris, etc... these days.

And as you said, Camry and Accord are mid-size yet these new C-Class & 3-series are almost comparable in size now.

You also mentioned entry-level in another post and these cars are clearly not the entry-level anymore and not even the smallest and cheapest car in the line-up. CLA is a FWD for gods sake.

I'm just saying.
