2015 Mercedes Benz C-Class * S-Inspired - Coupe Pics *C63 Officially Released*

what makes them a better value in your opinion if I may ask?

Toyota is known to be one of the most reliable brands. To me reliability is a big factor, granted I'm still driving a 2007 C350 Sport with 150K on the clock I haven't had any major issues, except some weird electrical bugs back in '09.

But you're getting some of those same options for thousands cheaper. It really just depends on what you look for in a car.

The CLA looks better than an Accord, Camry, etc. IMO, but I think for most people if they plan to keep the car for awhile and not lease, maybe Toyota or Honda is the way to go.

Either you're a fool or you must have piss poor credit.

Like I said, I can get a new loaded E350 in late december for the price you paid for the FWD CLA
Yeah a 2014 costs 51 starting out. And thats standard. Add in what i have like preminum package, multimedia, lighting, drivers asst, ash wood trim, rims, paint and maintenance it comes to 63k. Maybe you're saying used then it makes sense for YOU. I don't like the look of the E or last year's C. I can afford a CLS but it makes no sense when I can get most of the same features for half the price. I haven't purchased a used car since 2005 and nor do I plan on it. No time soon. Now I hate to sound like a **** but stop saying what you could get with 50k go and buy something worth 50k say hey I got this for YOUR SELF instead and then we can talk. Until you're just comparing apples to nothing. Hope I didn't come off pretentious I just don't like cats telling me what they've could've done with my money lol

Hey I don't wanna start any arguments or anything. If someone feels the value isn't there to them it isn't. And someone left a credit comment I have a 720 middle score. my credit is a bit above fair. I don't like credit cards. I have one for the military exchange as they have a bunch of no interest deals going on here and there and you can pay for gas with it. Lol. Like I said before it's all preferences but before anyone says who pays this for a cla go a page back look at my equipment and options and add it to any other class with merc and you can see the difference in price. Again like I said people see the commercial(with the fully loaded car lol) and see the 29,900 and automatically think oh snap I can get a cla for under 30k. The destination charge is 900 alone so that car just became 30800. Lol. Then add what I added to my car. Shoot If I would've got just the sports package and Pano roof added to my car I would've been at 45k just for extra 2 options. It's not german but this car is still a merc lol its not a Honda or Toyota. And I paid sticker price because I built the car myself. I knew the price before hand. I tried to use all types of discounts but being this was a new car in their line they weren't budging because she knew she was gonna get it sold. The day they got my car from the vpc there were like 20 people like vultures trying to get a test drive but she was like nah it's sold don't touch lol.

Gullible people

LOL. I sometimes forget this is Niketalk. Thanks for reminding me.

new to me means 14 or 15 model and in that case again I say OR NAH. if the car standard starts at 51(higher than my car loaded and with taxes, tags and everything) how can you get a loaded one for the same price? If you have a good relationship with a dealer then yeah I give you that, but a regualr joe that doesnt have a relationship with that dealer again i say or nah. prove me wrong tho. Ill check back in DEC show me your pinkslip. Again, Niketalk oh how I love thee.

so you own a merc so you already know that these options aint cheap. since its a sport you more than likely have around the same options as me minus the drivers asst package probably. Did you buy used or brand new? I no longer do used cars. again another preference thing for me.

It is 100% fact that in December when I was looking the CLA and E350 cost the same on a lease.

that depends on what is in the car and also how much you put down. The CLA has a great residual rate the best theyve had in years, but I drive too much to get a lease. Now I think the new C and the new E will be about the same price maybe just 50-100 dollars more a month.

I mean if you think its worth it, thats all that matters but how did you get the CLA all the way to $50k?

My friend bought a brand new C300 a few months ago, it was pretty well equipped and he was out at $50k+ OTD.

It was 40300 after taxes, a warranty, and their prepaid maintenance it came out to that price.

Wait I am confused. The car cost $40,300 after taxes then for additional warranty and prepaid maintenance it got up to $50k?

Is the warranty up til 500,000 miles? Is that pre-paid maintenance up til 20 years?

I don't get how you can get talked into paying 1/4th the price of your car for extra warranty and pre-paid maintenance.

who pays the sticker price for a car?

i guess ppl who dont know any better lol

To be fair, there are times you can't help but pay sticker (sometimes more) for the car you want especially if you really do not want to wait.

The FRS for example, Scions has a no haggle policy so you just pay for the sticker all the time. Some Porsches like the newest Macan, they really aren't going to sell you below sticker at the moment because they are just flying off the lot and if you pass then there is another guy that'll buy it for their asking price.

while we are on the topic of benz

what do you guys think of the 2015 benz GLA?

gonna check that out too, girl is getting rid of her subaru

no no no. it was taxes. 3725(around that) PPM (2200) and warranty(3500). I stated earlier I think the PPM is a joke, but this was my first entry into merc Ive had friends buy CLS' and S classes(USED THO) that were breaking down left and right and needed maintence because the owners didnt keep up with them and I was under the understanding oh they are expensive for maintenance when really it really isnt that much. the warranty due to all of the electronic systems in my car I felt was a good deal once one of them systems go its a wrap. especially that radar **** around the car.

I havent seen one in person yet, but its pretty much the CLA in crossover size which obviously I think is dope, but im not an SUV guy. Wifey has an 2014 Enclave and its dope but just too damn high! If you get it get the drivers asst package. It is the best thing ever created. lol distronic plus is amazing.

It's selling really well, I haven't seen much on the road because they also do not have much in stock yet, they've been trickling down to the dealerships and they aren't in a hurry because it's going to be their next big seller. But the list of it getting made straight from Germany (plenty are ordering their own) is a bit long right now. I'm considering picking it up at the factory in Germany too if/when I go for a Macan, get a little vacation too.

I like the look and price, not a fan of FWD and weak engine especially on a CUV (heavy). If I were to consider it, I'm gon' go with the 4matic for sure and pay that extra $2k. Or just go with GLA45 but at $50k I will personally go with the Macan hands down.

RFX thats awesome. I love the Macan. Would def be my DD, I remember you bein pretty set on it in the thread.

wow i just checked who would buy that in FWD only........., also it is a ECO stop/start so it shuts off at red lights

guess will have to see how it performs
