2015 Mercedes Benz C-Class * S-Inspired - Coupe Pics *C63 Officially Released*

I like it. I'm a BMW guy but if my current whip can make it another year I'm not opposed to checking this out. That front grill looks mean to me. I dig....I dig

I like what Mercedes is doing with the headlights, but I'm not a fan of the taillights at all

Nice car but from my perspective, I would never cop a C-Class.

Once the first couple rounds of leases expire, I wont be able to justify the price for this when you can get a 3 series in the same condition for 3-4k cheaper.

when does this car hit showrooms

i googled cant seem to find date

That new Lexus RC-F is soooo beautiful.

It comes in Solar Orange and USB.

I'll take it over any car in its class. sRs.

lol why does everyone in LA drive C's and 3 series?
Most people in large cities drive the compact model of the luxury line because of the heavy traffic and limited parking. I could see my wife in one of these, but I'm don't buy luxury cars anymore.

Nice but its just too slow :\

slow? Have you driven them yet? Thought so..

The base model c300 with the turbo inline 4 and 4matic will have around 240hp and 270tq. Estimated 0 to 60 is in mid to upper 5s.

the c400 is gonna be a turbo v6 with about 330hp and 350tq. Again with 4matic.

these will be the new benchmark 40 grand sedans.

I thought this thing is gonna be like 235hp? For 40k I don't see myself spending that much for that little hp. But if thats not the case I'd love to know, I may get it then

The C300 has a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine pumping out 241 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque.

And this really isn't the benchmark either, BMWs 328i is already touting 240hp with their Turbo i4 and it's about $1000 less to start. Not to mention that BMW always undersells their hp claims, when ran under the dyno they always tends to be 10-20 higher than what is claimed.

oh but it IS the new benchmark my friend.

You see, the comparing the F30 to the W204 is like comparing an xbox360 to a ps4.

Now that they're on an even playing field, you'll see what really IS the better car.

The new power plant in the new W205 C300 isnt just the only story, it also is LIGHTER about 220lbs as well.

Yeah yeah I know about BMW underrating their cars. Sometimes they overrate their cars too (see the F10 m5 competition package). But thats a different story all together.

Look, the BMW 328 is a fast car in its own right. I've driven one in sportmode and was actually VERY surprised how quick it was. I was disappointed with everything else though. Speed isnt everything you know? My term of benchmark wasnt meant purely in terms of performance, but in materials, design, innovation, value AND performance. This new W205 is lighter, slightly bigger AND faster. Plus have you actually sat inside the BMW F30? It drives quite nice I'll admit, but the interior is disgusting. The sportline trim wasnt bad though, but priced it too close to something nicer like the IS350.

Nothing is free in this world, if the BMW is 1000 dollars cheaper, you're also getting less equipment. (Especially from Audi's)

This thing is going to be a amazing. I can't wait to sit inside one in a couple months.

Didnt know that 6 horsepower could make you such an easy sell.

Well I thought we were just talking about "HP" benchmark.

But if you're going to talk about the overall car, you'd be insane to think the 3-series isn't the categories benchmark. Everyone is always trying to catch up to the 3-series and until it is unseated on the top, no one else can call anything else the benchmark in it's genre.

The new F30 might be it's worst iteration of itself in decades (though that is still up to debate, many says it's the worst but just as many says its the best) but it still stands as the best of the crowd. I mean I don't even know how you can say it's going to be faster when you just said the new C300 will hit 60 in the upper 5's but the 328i is already in the middle 5s, 5.5-5.6 to be exact.

To be the best you got to beat the best and that has yet to be done.

The new one just hit dealers correct? I'm going with a lady friend to Benz dealership tomorrow who is lease shopping. See If I can test drive this thing.
