I was held on Rikers Island awaiting trail a couple years back and there was a kid in my housing area that was charged with attempt murder on an officer... the C.O.'s would bring him outside food and snacks on the regular.

:lol: ok buddy. Think the C.O's "got your back" if you want. I've seen it first hand here in NY. I don't know about in Hawaii but they don't get along up here. Or north of NY either.

Police in NY feel the C.O.'s are getting paid too much more than they do and have a more dangerous job.

C.O.'s on the other hand hate the extra work load (new inmates, paperwork) when majority of the people that are arrested are there for B.S. charges just to make a quota or a collar.

you really think C.O's with their own problems, family and responsibilities are gonna go out their way to "stick it" to a guy who assaulted/harmed a police officer just cause he's an officer? :smh:
 
Yeah, C.O.'s aren't particularly fond of cops where I'm at.  I worked in a state prison for 3+ years and had daily contact with C.O.'s.  

Half of them couldn't hack it as cops for whatever reason, hence a grudge against police.  And law enforcement looks down on C.O.'s because they get the exact same certification as cops do, but they obviously don't do the same job.  Basically C.O.'s are looked at as cop wannabes by a lot of law enforcement.

Also, a lot of C.O.'s are grimey as HELL.  Not saying there aren't cops who are the same, but the standards for being a C.O. are much less stringent than law enforcement.  I knew **** was backwards when I saw a dude that I used to drug screen on county probation come in as a recruit.

  Dude hit me with the "you look familiar" and I had to act dumb so I didn't have to embarrass him in front of his recruit buddies.  
 
Alot of sick individuals out here in the world.  That beating was hard to watch fully.  It's like the dude had no soul and was really trying to beat him to death. 
 
After watching that, wow. :smh:

This is why I hate alcohol.

Dude behind the camera is a coward, I don't think I could have just stood by and watched that happen like that...someone should have tried to help him...:smh: straight cowards

Yeah I get what your saying but when did responsibility become so easy to displace onto someone else. I was taught to be responsible for my own actions. Yes worldstarhiphop has created a "fad" but they're not forcing people to beat someone half to death.

I am glad there are sites like WSHH though. Yes I understand this type of site promotes E-Fame and users upload themselves committing violent crimes, street fights, sexual acts, etc.. etc.. However I rather have the entire world see how things go down out in their neck of the woods, raw and uncut, than have some corporate news reporter twisting facts. Imagine if this beating happened and there was no video of it? It would just be a regular news report and I bet there wouldn't even be a topic about it here.

The fight was gonna happen, WSHH or not. However, when you film a beating with the sole purpose of EXPLOITATION, I think a lot of responsibility does fall on the person with the camera. It's his conscious (or lack thereof), but I know I wouldn't be able to look myself in the mirror had I made a mockery of a man getting beaten almost to death.

Cops do this everyday in inner cities in America and get away with it. I don't feel sorry for the pig that got his *** whooped.

Because cops are known to abuse their power perfectly justifies beating a cop like this who might or might not have participated in unjust acts.

So it's ok to beat and kill black urban youth because some are known to be involved in illegal activities.
