Best Earphones to Run/Workout With?

S&T enthusiasts, help me out.

I figured since this is the training forum, it'd be more appropriate to consult yall rather than the music forum. In any case, I'm tired of using my iPod earphones to workout with. The earbuds consistently fall out while I'm running and are also susceptible to ear sweat (meaning, if I sweat in my ear, the sound gets clogged or muffled).

Do yall have any suggestions on good ear buds to wear while I'm at the gym? I think my price range for is somewhere of the neighborhood of $30-$50. I'm not a heavy earphone snob by any means, just looking for a pair that's durable, hangs on to my damn ear holes, and are durable.

Thanks in advance!

no prob. lemme know how you like when you get :smokin

wanted to give the earphones a good month of test-runs before I could give any feedback:

pros:
-amazing sound quality and bass for such an affordable pair of earphones. i was definitely surprised by the bass (it's probably from the earbuds coming with different sized earbuds thus allowing for a more proper fit)
-secure fit around the ear (didn't fall out one time and i might have logged in about 40-50 miles of running this past month)
-price point (how could you be mad at a pair of headphones that cost $14.99 ?)

cons:
-at very very low volumes, you can hear the chord moving
-it took me awhile to get used to putting the earphones on at first. the adjustable metal wire that wraps around your ear was wildly confusing initially, i was throwing a little fit that it didnt come with instructions on how to put them on. almost went to youtube to see if i could find a video, but that's more a reflection of my own incompetence

overall:
great pick up, actually bought some for my sister and friends who run a lot as well. finances were getting tight, so glad i didnt have to cough up more change for these. thanks again memphis, definitely appreciate the suggestion.

Good stuff.
Sounds like liveable cons... 1 being you had to get adjusted to the fit, so after a few times.. that con goes away.
And the other was you could hear the cord moving at low volumes. But we all blast our music in the gym, so shouldn't be a bother lol. Did you use the clips to help the cord stay in place?
Thats what I do, I usually clip my mp3 to my shirt collar, so I wont have to use the cord extender. But when I have to use the extender, I just use the clips to keep it pinned to my shirt.

you're right about blasting music to the point that cord feedback is a non-issue
good suggestion on using the clip on the collar. will try that next time..i've always been unsure of where to clip the damn thing

happy new year's, fam
