Just a few days removed from calling out Nike CEO Mark Parker, Kanye West is back at it again.

This time, during an open dialogue at the Madison Square Garden stop of the Yeezus tour this weekend, Kanye showed signs of a deeper rift between him and the Swoosh, as well as hinted at a new deal to be announced as early as Monday.

"They try to act like people ain't line up for the Yeezys," he said, going on to drop names like designer Hedi Slimane, LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault, and Kering Corporation head Francois Pinault. "Mark Parker tried to son me. Yes. Son me because I am the sun and I will shine bright. And when I don't have as much money as a billionaire and when I don't have the factories that, that dude has over there, what I do have is my voice. Ain't no corporation that can take me away from my voice and I'm going to scream at the top of my ************* mountain as loud as I want. Anything I want. Whenever I want. Is that crazy? So I'm going to make the announcement on Monday with the corporation that finally let me get an opportunity to create."

Kanye even admitted that he, the designer of the hyped "Red October" Air Yeezy IIs, might not even know when, or if, the kicks would drop.

"I asked Nike when the Red Octobers supposed to drop, and they said, 'We don't know,'" he said.

With the recent rants, or what Kanye likes to call, "visual streams of consciousness," a permanent departure from the brand seems to already be in the books. When's the last time Ye was actually spotted rocking Red Octobers?

Most recently, with him throwing shade at Pinault, whose company owns Puma, Gucci, Alexander McQueen, and others, it's a safe bet that a deal with any Kering brand is also off the table.

That leaves adidas as the number one contender for the artist's designing chops, as it's the second biggest brand behind Nike, with the production resources the rapper has already admitted to be looking for. The brand also has a pedigree of working with rappers from Big Sean to A$AP Rocky.

Could news of a Kanye West x adidas deal is imminent? And if so, is it a smart move?

The public may just have to wait a few days to find out.

With Mr. West's latest rant @ the MSG Yeezus show he continues to open up bout is deal with Nike & it's CEO's

What does this mean for Red Octobers, would Nike bury the shoe just purely out of spite for his behavior....ruining it for peoples that have been waiting

IF he has signed with Adidas what impact would that have on popularity of the brand in 2nd position?

Will he stay true & bring his designs to the masses?

As he's mentioned before that he wants everyone thats willing to expeirence a peice of him besides music... BUT will they be affordable , produced on a grand scale or easily attainable?

THOUGHTS?

No "Red Octobers"?! AWWW hell nah..

Adidas is doing well within the recent decade. Not a bad move.

I think Nike is the only brand that can work. No one is gonna line up for Adidas, Reebok, Li Ning (you've gotta be kidding me). I would have to say, as the self-proclaimed LV Don, that would be the next best fit.

Side note: It would be interesting to see a Kanye-Asics collabo.

Win win situation. Adidas can generate the hype with Ye. And Ye can do his little clothing project.

Adidas online servers aint ready though

People lined up for Big Sean adidas. You don't think they'd line up for a Kanye sneaker lol?

Adidas will have a popular shoe model but the popularity of the brand isn't going to change. People aren't going to start buying Adidas if they haven't been already. They are just going to continue to buy Yeezys.

Miley Cyrus saying, "J's on my feet, so get like me," has had more of an impact on brand popularity than any Yeezy ever will.

I don't know how it works but didn't ye sign on with Adidas Y-3? I don't know if they have the distribution chain that Adidas main does but i just know ive seen some crazy Y-3 looking designs and have no clue where they are even sold. So i don't know if Adidas is going to mass produce these because they are Yeezi's (rumored name) or if they will be indy like every Y-3 release (or at least thats what im calling it cause i have no clue where you buy Y-3 stuff)

Not sure if serious...

People line up for sketchers if it had any type of hype buildup, Good move for Adidas, I'm a Kanye fan, but I'm starting to see why dudes think he's a big cry baby, must he call out EVERY company that doesn't agree with his vision?....

Barneys( the irony lol) is where I see Y-3 and special boutiques on the west coast,etc...
But with that said alot of boutiques would start trying to obtain an Y-3 account.
And if Jerermy Scott sells, why wouldn't these, lol...

Thank God someone said it before. Dudes acting like those JS adidas don't sell well.... I have personally never owned a pair of Yeezy's but I don't see the switch as a necessarily bad move for Ye. Obviously I prefer Nikes (hence why I'm a NTer) but I'd cop some Ye Adidas all the same if I had a chance.

I remember hearing a good while back that Nike hates working with Ye because ofhis attitude etc. I wouldn't be surprised if they straight up dropped him on their own.

Some of you dudes are oblivious.

It's 30 degrees in NYC right now and there's already a line in soho for some New Balance that come out on Friday.

It's official.

“Michael Jordan has 5%, that business is $2 billion. He makes a $100 million dollars a year off of 5% royalties. Nike told me we can’t give you royalties because you’re not a professional athlete. I told them, I go to the Garden and go one on NO ONE. I’m a performance athlete. So the old me, without a daughter, would have taken the Nike deal because I just love Nikes so much. But the new me, with a daughter, takes the adidas deal because I have royalties and I have to provide for my family.

West’s line is being referred to as “YEEZI” and was the result of time spent with Y-3 head Yohji Yamamoto during a recent Mercedes-Benz NYFW fashion show.

I can't be mad at the bolded part.

He was on Hot97 talking with Angie Martinez and and Kim I couldn't listen though dude's ego is on a hundred trillion for real.

I can't believe I'm saying this but his B was more tolerable than him.

This N is going to learn when you mess with certain Jews and White's at certain levels you can kiss your *** goodbye.

He was on the radio talking like Nike, Gucci, LV, and all these other worldwide brand needed him and should be to his every beacon call.

I'm not saying dude isn't influential, but I think he's overestimating his pull, power, and selling power.

We'll see how this works out...

You guys think when he said that little jab he said when he performed and said the Yeezy's jumped over the Jumpman or some crap like that and it might not have rubbed MJ or the higher ups at Nike the right way because ever since that I don't think his relationship with them has been good.

What was his issue with Nike though that they weren't releasing his kicks or something I don't understand...

Oh okay after reading this I definitely understand where he's coming from... good for him man I'm happy to see him thinking like this.

More people should be thinking like this... to hell with making those bastards more richer.

I think when MJ made Jordan Brand and resigned with Nike he renegotiated his contract and it was like 35% I could have sworn, but his was back in like the early 2000's.
