If you've never had it, do yourself a favor and go get some. It's perfection. The seasoning, tenderness, etc. It's literally CRACK. Watching them joints go around the rotisserie is hypnotizing . The best I've had is in the DC Area. I've had some tasty chicken in Queens, but nothing is topping El Pollo Rico. **** is beyond appreciated. You can eat like a king for under $10.

I love peruvian chicken. The spot I go to is called The Chicken Place in Alexandria off Seminary Rd for my NOVA heads.

I was just gonna say, it's mad Peruvian chicken spots in the DMV.

I still have no idea what that green sauce they put in the little cups is, though.

Got an El Pollo Rico two miles from my house. I appreciate it on nights when I don't feel like cooking dinner. Always tasty and filling. I've heard they've had some legal troubles in the past though with money laundering and employees without papers.

Safe to say that Peruvian chicken is a staple of the DMV?

All I know is that green sauce varies in heat depending on the batch or where you're eating

That Armando's Pollo Rico on Jamaica Ave  :pimp:

I just tried Pio Pio for the first time thing, that **** was AMAZING.

Not a fan of Pio Pio but many love it.

I rarely eat the chicken at Pio Pio....just doesn't compare to the places in the DMV. However, Pio Pio has them beat w/ their salchipappas (sp?), calimari, and mozzarella salad. *drools*

I've been to a couple of the ones in queens, I'm Colombian tho, so if I'm in queens 90% I much rather hit up a Colombian spot...lol

A bandeja paisa >>>>>>>

:pimp:

 came back to the DMV for a wedding, ate here after the wedding and before the reception. :pimp:

If you wanna try another great place for chicken, Nando's Peri-peri at the Harbor and other spots in DC.  Portuguese chicken, IMO better than Peruvian.  Try all the different sauces

Ahhh, that's still my favorite type. There's one not 2 blocks from my apt, Dona Maria. Too good :pimp:

I might have to go to Pio Pio this weekend

Bandeja paisa at La pequenia Colombia on 84th and Roosevelt ave is the best in queens.

Best Peruvian spot is on 53rd and Roosevelt.

I think the green sauce is tomatillo? I prefer the green one over the other sauce. I don't know what the other sauce is either

Other sauce is like a mayo based....something. Just don't know what.

It's cool..

Pollo Inka is good for all my fellow LA NTers.

That being said, I rather have some Cuban or Mexican style dishes.
