2014 NBA Draft Thread

if the sixers say have pick 6 and 10 would any team with a top 4 pick trade out for them since its such a deep draft and bank on getting 2 stars and not 1?

and this draft could really make or break the suns future for the next 6-10 years

I think I keep 6 and 10 because you can get Smart at 6 probably and a very solid big at 10. But if they do it for the 2 pick, I would. As long as you get Wiggins or Bari...

Clarkson and Christon should be brought up.

Why get Smart when you have MCW who you picked in the lottery last year?

They need to move up and get Bari or Wiggins if possible, they need a star on the wing

Why would you draft Smart when you have MCW playing like an all-star?

I say go for Exum if he slips down that far. But hey, all these predictions are useless until we get them ping pong balls rolling.

Exactly. A 4 and a 2 are the biggest 'holes' considering we have MCW, Noel and Turner (if he continues playing this way, I would love to keep him).

I'm watching Christon tape, I don't see a lottery pick, like not even really close, ESPECIALLY not in this draft but not even in a normal draft.

He used Philly as an example... I meant any team that has those two picks, that's what I would do... My point was u are getting 2 guys who have the chance to be very good and all star types.

If Philly does have the 6 and 10 u obviously don't take Smart. All matters on the team.

I think Semaj is an idiot if he comes out, and will be a lotto pick next yr. I only brought him up because word is he's gone.

BTW it's McDermott, there's no N guys lol.

this will be one entertaining draft :smokin a lot of potential players in the first couple picks that could really turn a franchise around in the right direction. looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

In that case, I would definitely trade up if I cal land wiggins or Parker. I really like randle's game, but I'm always skeptical about big men transitioning into the league. That being said, I'll still take him as a third pick.

U probably don't get the 1 or 2 in this draft for that though...

There would be some serious public outrage at first atleast by a team's fanbase if they traded Wiggins, Parker or Randle for picks 6 and 10. I'll take the 2003 draft for example...you could end up trading LeBron, Melo or Bosh/D-Wade for Chris Kaman and Jarvis Hayes.
