These just don't look right, milky sole toe box too boxy boot looking like this year's Blk/Infra's. The VIa Balt pic looks more like A legit pair just by looking at the toe area. IMO

I do recall this pair in 1991. But were they worn in any games Jordan played in during the season? Or were these just another one of alternate colorway pairs made for retail/fashionable?

Found another one from the set above. This is just a wild guess but could it be that the maroon 6s were the first jordan 6 colorway MJ set his feet on before the white infrareds carmines and black infrareds? If you check this picture Tinker was showing MJ what it looks to be the carmines revealing him of what the colorways might be for the 6s. Again this is just my assumption NT fam haha

Back in the day the Maroon VI was in the same lane as the TB-III.
Though, down the road, the TB-III had a little extra air pumped into it when MJ decided to wear them in a few Wiz games.
Regarding the photos above: That was simply a promo shoot for the Maroons, and related product.

Think those maroon shorts were the ones had when I was a kid. Cotton and short. Was thinking they dropped with the 7's and the "Jordan" was vertical rather than horizontal, but I must be wrong. I do remember ripping them hopping over a chain link fence tho

There were multiple sets of this design including sweatpants with the branding vertical down the leg. I had them in 3 sizes growing up to match the 3 sizes of maroon 6s i had. Pops got them on super clearance and i got pairs for Christmas, then my June birthday, then back to school lol. Oh the days when Jordan's reached the clearance rack.
