JB wants people to associate Jordan with Jordan Brand Not Nike, i read somewhere that tinker wished he would of not put the Nike Air on the back of the 3-6 , that's why they have Jumpman Air instead of Nike Air
probably impossible because its an OG remaster, hypebeast and resellers who dont even like the color will cop it up and then flip it for 300 over retail 2 months later
But they seemed to only notice halfway through 2001, the 2001 true blue 3 was the first og colorway retro to have the Nike branding removed.
I think they were testing the market t0 see how people would react to the new model.
And if I remember correctly wasn't the 2001 true blues the first retro of an OG colorway that was altered? I.E. No N/A, the blue extending all the way down the inner midsole and blue along the tongue sockliner
