Jordan Retro 6 "Maroon" - Dec. 5, 2015 ($220)

Yep I've decided to just pass on Cyber Mondays all together and just focus on these instead of getting both which was my original plan. Saw cybers in person and they were actually kinda meh. Not about to let JB get me for a whole $600 (including aquas) within a one month period. Maroons are a must though.

Ok so im inquiring a little advice guys. I have a store where I can go purchase these today (I'm sure over retail but not sure how much) should I go cop or wait for RD?

cop now. zero reason to wait other than saving some money. none of us know your financial situation.

That is entirely up to you.

It's super weird that the box is marked QS, receipts come up QS, store invoices show QS, yet it is wide release... Have to wonder if the original intention was to make it a QS then they changed their minds after the boxes were already printed. Anyone with a Nike connect figure this one out?

Is there also a chance that even though the launch locator shows all those stores getting them, maybe it's still only like a FSR each or something?

If Nike keeps flooding shelves like this it's going to kill the "game." Especially with retail this high. These will be $300 with tax in Canada, Aqua 8's were $260. :smh:

Which part of the "game" are you referring to?

The resell game? If so, that's a good thing.

If you're talking mainly about the price increases, then it will make some impulse buyers more wary of what, when, and how they will want to spend their money.

I feel bad for those that depend on resell money to serve, if they don't have another source of income they screwed. I resell but I have a job
Why do you feel bad?

No one is forced to resell shoes for a profit.

Its not even a real job!

Everyone has a right to choose what they do in this world.

Not just resale, the whole big picture... If nike keeps pumping out this many pairs less people are going to want them. It's already happening on recent releases. Face it, a lot of sneaker buying is based on hype. Resellers built up an artificial demand for sneakers, Nike is over compensating right now. These releases are sitting. Higher retail might have something to do with it, hype beasts moving on from Jordan's surely has something to do with it as well. Fact of the matter is the "game" in general is changing right now, for resellers and true sneakerheads, down to casual collectors.

Don't get me wrong, I've been buying Jordan's since the 90's, and I'm not a reseller. I like a wider availability, but this much availability, and retail this high, could **** stuff up.

bbestsb bbestsb ...I see what you're saying, but isnt that what most of us have been asking for, more OG's to be retroed/released?

Now, as far as the price increase, that hasn't been sitting well for a lot of us. I think the best way to cope with the increase is be smarter and save for what we really want and not just buy every release that comes out. I've done this in the past, but now I only buy what I really want. To me, I see it as Nike/Jb is giving me an opportunity to be more responsible with how I spend my money.

With that said, I can't wait to have these back into my collection :pimp:

You only speaking on one shoe. Yeezy suppose to be coming out that same day. I'm sure resellers won't be on these like that nor hurting.
Eeeeeeh that's why they should have real job.
I'm speaking on future releases that will be priced at 220 range. Yeezys are a resellers wet dream regardless, can't touch on that. This leaves the profit margin so much less for resellers though.

I like the wider releases. To be honest I stop buy Jordan's for a long time because I don't have time to do raffles, line up or camp at my computer. Thought it was going to be better with the mobile crap but still have to wait and leave the app open :smh: . My phone makes way too much money for me to do that.

Like babyj said price increase weeds out a lot of impulse purchases.

Plus more pairs available means easier to cop with a discount :smokin

No reason to have early unless you want to flex or really can't wait a week to get them at retail. Up to you

I dnt thnk these will b as easy to get as ppl thnk, alot of stores are gettin them but i thnk dey are not gettin alot of pairs... some of the villa in my area are doin raffles, but usually they dey guarantee tix, so i thnk that mayb a indication of low numbers... hopefully ftl, champs, footaction hv more pairs available than stores like villa, kicksusa? Anybody know the usual number range on QS releases? ( 36 pairs) is that accurate number?
