Jordan Retro 6 "Maroon" - Dec. 5, 2015 ($220)

I am trying to focus on spending on the fams xmas presents, spent over $12k on daughter's car, paid off sister's medical bills, trying to match last years donations with a 15% increase...

I also didn't want to feel like I was using him for his discount even though he texted and offered without being asked.

That's just to name a few reasons why

Respect. Always had mad respect for what you did on here with links and what not, but have even more for you now.

or JB started producing a lot more and raising the prices to cut out resellers to allow people the people who want them the ability to get them at retail.

Resellers were reselling general release kicks

Isn't that what we wanted?

It seems like a lot of people want it both ways. They want to have a sneaker that sold out, but they want to be able to attain it easily. I don't think those things are synonymous. Because what was happening was that the attaining it easily was done with bots or resellers and it was hurting things for the average person. Now that kid can go the store next Wednesday after getting an A on a test with his mom and not have to get consolation sneaker or a team Jordan. He can get an actual Jordan.

The price doesn't matter, this will weed out the inexperience reseller who doesn't have a platform to sell their shoes on. If you don't have clientele, store, or heavy liquid to sit on shoes, you won't be buying knowing you can't due to market being flooded and out margined. The real resellers will just increase to get that margin that they want and don't forget Asia is still buying them from U.S

Someone in front of me in line used a Welfare card to buy these. Is that even possible? If it is possible that irks me to no end. Not only do I have to buy my pair I have to buy his now too?
Wtf, so thats where our tax dollars is going toward. Not food or bills, but free jordans. Cool.

This... this was beautiful.

Im glad the price point has been raised. Avg resale proce was 225. So WHY NOT give it to nike instead of a reseller. Not only that, now people who have lives and a real job can walk into the store to cop. I walked into finishline today to buy my kids shoes and saw someone trying the aqua 8s.. all i thought to myself was "the good old days" and kept it moving

Nike asking for payment ahead of time is a great idea. It removes those people who would add shoes to cart and not buy, bots, atc and provides a fair chance to everyone.. the only inconvenient part of all this was doing it THE MORNING OF...

THIS. This release is truly reminiscent of better days. Now, if Nike would only do these raffle the night BEFORE the release everything would go a lot smoother. Leaving people in the dark on release day as to whether or not they won for hours on end was a bad move.

I DON'T see how y'all can even get them on your feet, laced ALL the way up like that....

When I FIRST tried on the Black/Infrared 6's on factory laced, My WHOLE foot D*** NEAR was on top of the arch.

I had to RE-LACE them with THE QUICKNESS, even after that, they still weren't all that COMFORTABLE.

I had to get some SolComfort shoe pads from Wal-Mart, I was cool after that.

The Black/Varsity Reds were WAY MORE comfortable IMO.

These types of releases will not only detract resellers from buying up all the stock but it will begin to eliminate those who sell atc services. Once people see they don't need such a service to buy then those will be a thing of the past too.

A year ago i would have been all over a jordan with nike air on the back

Had very little interest in this release today and the price tag is a huge turnoff.

Maybe im getting too old for this. Idk. /rant

Looks like I'm the only one salty after this release. I don't understand the logic behind producing a sneaker in every size from infant to Adult except a 7.5.

Lol, yes the good old days. You walked in a store and try on different sizes, now a days you can't even try on shoes. Hopefully this is the beginning of the old days
