I would love to see non OG colorways with Nike Air. Had the Cool Grey IV had the old shape, and a plastic tab with Nike Air on the back, they would've looked awesome. Certain ones I understand, like DBs, shouldn't have NA, but there are some that would look really good.

That's partly true, but it didn't stop them from using Nike Air when retros started back up in 1999.

Exactly, and JB has never been its own brand. JB is a subdivision under the Nike umbrella. There is not even a standalone website for Jordan's anymore.
Additionally, as the guy said, they used the Nike air on Jordan's for 4 years after becoming "Jordan brand in 97 or 98.

Who wouldn't want to see themselves all over their shoes??

To add to that, when I worked at Finishline, every "Jordan Brand" product had its vendor listed as Nike USA.
 
We SHOULD be getting black metallic 5's with NA soon seeing as how theyve refused to drop that shoe in decent form since the 2000 pair.

Nike Air aside, I find it utterly disrespectful that they fixed the cheap white leather upper issue on these but let the Sport Blues release like that.

And White Infrared & Carmines.. also classics that deserved better. :smh: Even those ugly Infrared 6 lows that dropped this year had better materials than last year's..

Def disrespectful and I side with everyone on the quality of leather even though it's synthetic. More of a reason to ask why don't all the shoes eel soft as butter since it is man made. 

However, I must say that the sport blues and infrareds are tanks. Broke in nicely after a bunch of wears and easy to clean scuffs and dirt.

Definitely the best thing about them.

I beat those things senseless in the Winter and I could clean the soles and list them as VNDS.

Things are going to be getting wears well into 2020

The 07 pair was pretty decent imo... my pair is still going strong besides the yellow netting...i could use another pair especially with nike air :pimp:
 
Quick question, are the 2010 White Varsity Reds and the 2014 Sport Blues two different molds and quality, or basically the same shoe?

Yes. Leather, and the stitched jumpman on the 2010 Varsity Reds were superior to all the 2014s. As far as the mold, just look at the toe box on both shoes, and noticed how the 2010 has a sleek toe box, while the 2014 has a boot like toe box. I prefer the 2010 toe box, as it looks sleeker and goes with the flow of the shoe. Also, the 2010 fit my foot better, in such a way that I could go a half size up if I couldn't find my true size. Going half size up on the 2014s was no bueno.

I wish JB would've stayed with the 2010 Mold.

Wow.. I just assumed these would be around 200, just noticed the 220 price point. Being that they are towards the end of the year with so many other releases I'll just have to see if they seem worth it closer to release. :smh:

Actually started in '94/'95 O.G. II's high and lows white/black, and Blk/cmnt III's and white/cmnts both with NA.
 
Finally a release date....I knew this was gonna be the official date only cause I'll be picking up the unc 1's I knew they'd pull this, well I'll be done for 2015 afterwards...
