PREACHER VOL. AMC Taking Preacher to pilot

Cassidy is just in hiding and just real chill, I like the character.

Preacher isn't really abusing his powers though, more like discovering how strong it is. He did realize how much power he has and what it can do in the end of the most recent episode.

This show still weird as hell, decent epi I guess. Those clones seem annoying, wth is cassidy doing with his life, the preacher is clearly abusing his powers. :smh:
Checkout Outcast, even weirder.I can't decide which I like better yet.

Outcast is real good. Plus the story is organized well and doesn't confuse you like this show does. I mentioned that cowboy with the sick, little girl scene that started off the ep last week and there has been no follow up on it. I was like why the hell did they show that scene?

Yeah thats how I feel. Outcast is done well, theres a cohesive story. Preacher is interesting but feels like theres 8 stories going on at the same time and theres no main story.

Yeah, it feels like that with how they jump from all the different locations.

I still don't fully understand all the characters places.

And did I miss the explination on why Preacher didn't blow up like the rest?

The vampire pretty much explained his orgins but still don't know why he's there.

Don't know what's good with the organization broken arm works for either.

And the cowboy scene has me confused.

I don't kniw why I'm watching

On talking preacher they were saying maybe jesse didn't blow up because he's not completely good or completely bad.

Without reading the comics I just assume Jesse is somewhat like the chosen one and that is why he didn't blow up, it is that thing at night that might be blowing up the others and it ended up merging with him?

As for Cassidy, again dude is just on the run, he is in hiding. His origins is probably going to be explained in a flashback later on.

Same with the cowboy scene, it's like a teaser and they'd slowly reveal who he is. I know, it is random how they are going about it but it's a filming/editing style I guess. You get his story in pieces, bit by bit until he becomes relevant then another flashback or it is explained how he is involved.

I think it is supposed to pique your interest but instead gets some confused.

Yeah they just asking a bunch of questions and not answering them. If I hadn't finished the comic, I'd be confused as hell. Actually, I'm still confused because I'm lost on the direction this show is trying to take

Yeah I assumed those were angels, but I ain't eem sure. "good scenes, not a good show" is a good description. Not yet atleast, hopefully it plays out. I remember saying wtf to the leftovers for the longest till it made me buy into it.

 @ hunting down prostitutes as a game. Then acting like it ain't no big thing when one died.

 @ Cassidy taking the L in the white house.

Jesse buggin subverting free will like that.

The ending for last week's ep was wild with dude killing all those ppl.

Gotta say this show and how the eps are being done has this lack of cohesiveness to it and I dunno if it's 100% bad or good. Its really unlike any other shows I watch.

The pacing could be better.

I watched all episodes that aired. I can honestly say............this show is really mediocre. If someone not watching, you not missing anything.

Pacing could be a lot better.

I'm fully confident once we get past this bump it'll speed up, we're still in the building up stages I feel

Can't wait til he leaves this town. All this original content is kinda lackluster.

ABQ movie/show business bout to blow up! A lot of cool stuff being done here NM. Last Summer I remember there were a few shows coming out of Santa Fe. My big (I know childish) from my fraternity was working on Preacher for most of this year. Pretty awesome to hear all the good feedback.

The beginning of this ep was so good.

Ep overall was solid.

I just wonder how many lives he may ruin/get ppl killed before he leaves town.

It ended so lit!
