PREACHER VOL. AMC Taking Preacher to pilot

I don't remember, but I can understand dude more than the vampire.

This preacher needs to stop acting like he ain't a savage. Dude is accepting suspect liquor from his friend and passing out, :smh:
Before I saw the bottle he took from Cassidy I thought it was going to be a bottle of blood

That's what I thought too. Then he was saying it had some air conditioner fluid I was like damn dude is drinking chemicals.

This episode bored the hell out of me, aside from the church chainsaw scene:lol:

Irish vampire dude needs subtitles.

I read a review i think from IGN saying that the press got to see the first 4 episodes before this premiered & that most of em said this was the most boring one so im expecting the next few to be better. I did like this episode tho

And i agree that Cassidy def needs subtitles, his accent is strong af but hes funny whenever i do understand him

I'm used to him from Misfits so I can understand most of what he says.

I watched Talking Preacher and Seth Rogen and everyone said that Joe Gilgun was the most interesting person they've ever met. You can just look at him and tell he's got good stories to tell.

I never read the graphic novels( like a lot of people I mainly googled the overarching story and the cooler aspects of the series) so I've been finding the episodes pretty boring so far. They aren't bad, it's just I really only care about the " cool" stuff.

That's one of my gripes with AMC shows. I find them to be mainly filler and they just drag stuff out

The beginning scene with the sick girl and people being in the wild west in 1881 had no connection to the rest of the episode. I was like wth was that and why wasn't it referenced or connected to the rest of the episode. Both episodes have been meh to me so far with a few good scenes mixed in.

i was wondering how this show would be to people who have never read the book lol.

i think if i had no prior knowledge it might be a lil confusing.

So does Jesse believe that Cassidy is a vampire at this point or he just thinks he is full of ish?

Seemed like he thought he was joking. Nobody has really noticed in that town that cassidy avoids being in sunlight.

This show is asking for a lot of faith from people not familiar with the source material.
Isn't that every show though?

Yall need to get used to exposition. It's been two episodes, I don't really expect the show to already be reaching a climax by then.

This episode was cool. Been reading the comic lately. Noticed alot of major differences fast but this is cool in its own way

Just watched the 1st 2 episodes.

Hella confused.

Show seems all over the place with no pace.

Good scenes not a good show.

I think episode 3 is up so I'll give it a shot to try to close some loops for me.

Not sure if it will answer your questions or just make you have more  it's better than episode 2 at any rate though.

This show still weird as hell, decent epi I guess. Those clones seem annoying, wth is cassidy doing with his life, the preacher is clearly abusing his powers. :smh:
Checkout Outcast, even weirder.I can't decide which I like better yet.
