The MMA Thread: DON'T ASK 4 STREAMS & NO GIFS- UFC 300 ON NOW

Weidman is a very technical striker. He's never been outstruck in a match either. He chained some nice combos to set that last KO punch up. It could have been a lucky KO punch, but all the striking leading up to that was precise and composed.

If Anderson doesn't clown and loses, a lot of folks are going to have to eat crow. I still want Anderson to win though.

Yeah, weidman threw him off with the two rights back to back.

If he beats him again without any Anderson showboating then damb :smh: I will be leaf

Eh, he was still missing a lot. If anderson didn't showboat he wouldn't have landed most of those punches in the first and second rounds. To end the fight he hit him with that left then anderson was doing the wobbly legs. He missed the next 2 punches then hit him with another left.

I'm not an anderson fan either, it's just frustrating seeing the best cost himself a fight. It's be like watching MJ goof around in a Finals game.

Of course Weidman was missing a lot, Anderson is pretty much in prime form at 38. Anderson's head movement is still amazing. Point being Weidman isn't a slouch with his striking, despite the speed difference, especially with his wrestling base.

I fully expect Silva to win in addition to clowning around a little bit but not w/ his hands down on some "your shots don't hurt me" steez.

I'm an Anderson fan :smh: he probably wouldn't have gotten hit if he didn't do the wobbly legs bs.. But he did and weidman capitalized on it and won the belt. I'll give him that much.. If he does it again with a super motivated Anderson then :pimp: to weidman

I haven't watched many of his fights. I remember his debut against Sakara and then his most recent. His striking looked ok in the last fight. People do say his striking is good.

great finish by johnson, tibaus my dude though

I need to make a poster of Meisha at the weigh-ins kissing her bicep with the beautiful cleavage of the octagon girls in the background.
