The MMA Thread: DON'T ASK 4 STREAMS & NO GIFS- UFC 300 ON NOW

I like Jones more now he doesn't seem as fake and forced

Seems like he's being himself now

Plus he's got a bad *** Raptor
I think his whole attitude changed after TUF. He used to be stone faced all the time and wouldn't say anything negative or even crack a joke about his opponent and claim "I'm focused" when it looked like he was pretend. Either way I like his new attitude also and I hope it doesn't all go to his head and lose his belt in wack fashion.

DC will manhandle Hendo, it is going to be tough to watch. :smh:

As for Jones, dude is easily the most talented fighter in the organization. Still it seems like too much of Greg Jackson's schtick is rubbing off on him. One minute he is a contemplative martial artist, the next he is a mildly arrogant kid, dismissive of any other fighter in the world. He needs to pick one attitude and run with it, or just be himself. A 26 year old kid living that damn dream and kicking anyone's *** that they throw in front of him...

And he beat Gustaffson, there is little question about that. Hell of a fight, but Jones clearly won.

Arlovski hasn't looked good in years. I'm a fan of his but Fedor took his soul when he landed that punch.

Agreed with both statements. Kinda cool for a little nostalgia but that's it.

Andrei gonna get touched on that glass jaw of his and go to sleep.

He was one of my favorite fighters years ago too.

Andrei v. Schaub in the works? Battle of the glass chins.

Cool to see him back, but the UFC must be hurting for big guys BAD at this point to bring him back into the fold.

Hendo is one Riggt away from winning every fight he's in, I'm not counting him out even with a normal T:E ratio

That right hand is a hell of an equalizer, but Hendo looked washed early in the second Shogun fight. I have a feeling DC is going to ragdoll him all over the damn cage.

Cormier is way too smart to let himself be taken out by a bomb. If anything Cormier will make it a boring fight and subdue Hendo's overhand right.

I still believe Glover will be a tough out for Jones. Obviously Jones will hold a significant reach advantage among other advantages but I think Glover's will ought to count for something. I believe Glover will stand right in the pocket. Now, Glover's vaunted take down defense will be tested obviously, but I think it'll be enough to keep off the mat. I am not too impressed with Jones' boxing but his diverse striking makes up for it. Glover will test his boxing. Even though Bader stunned Glover, Glover still didn't go down and also has been through some stand up wars. I think Glover has a chin.

If anything, Glover should be in his absolute prime peak, physically and mentally. This isn't another veteran past his prime. I have Jones by decision.

Dude was taking a while taking the readings at weigh ins and Rumble looked shook for a sec. Come off the scale grinning and he and Dana start laughing

Also amazing to see how Bones is the 'runt' of the pack. His brothers are huge :smh:

Got pics coming for you, VVH.

Bones by 49-46 decision, Davis by 30-27 decision, Rockhold by KO 2.

Picking Miller, Gomi, and Benavidez.

Glover by KO. Said no one ever.

Just one clean hit by Teixeira, maybe a knockdown, and I won't be mad if Jones keeps the title.

Just finished the final project for one of my classes. Time to crack some beers and watch the fights. :pimp:

Thinking Ms. Bardem won that one.
