my fav was the 2005 middleweight GP. man that **** was so freaken epic!! that shogun/lil nog fight was one of the GOAT MMA fights.

Gunnar Nelson v Rick Story set for the main event in Sweden on October 4th. Glad that he didn't get fast tracked to Rory, there's no use in wasting contenders like that. Build him up man. Thought it was too quick to suggest a Rory match.

Other fights on the card:

UFC officials announced the welterweight bout on Thursday. UFC Fight Night Sweden takes place on Oct. 4 and includes a welterweight matchup pitting Amir Sadollah against Nicholas Musoke as well as a light heavyweight clash between Ilir Latifi and Jan Blachowicz. The entirety of the card airs on Fight Pass.

Also, Goldberg gonna call two NFL games this year

As of now, Goldberg is set for action on Oct. 19, when the Minnesota Vikings take on the Buffalo Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard, N.Y.

Goldberg is really moving on up. I remember a few years ago he was close to leaving UFC to go announce for WWF. But shocked that they didn't have him call a Colts or Patriots game on Fox so they could fit a Jon Jones and UFC reference in there.
 
From what I read yesterday, Cub wasn't really into the fight. He wanted a title shot next, but recently he came around to the idea of fighting Frankie since Aldo/Mendes got postponed. They were targeting October (Sweden), November, or December. 

Personally I like the idea of them main eventing or co main eventing the next Fox card in December.
 
Ariel said Cub's train of thought was that the UFC promised him a title shot after the Stephens win.. but with the injury to Aldo, Cub was open to a fight with Frankie. There is no other route right now for either Cub nor Frankie. It needs to happen plain and simple. It will probably end up happening on another card.

Nico's one of my underrated fighters, thoroughly enjoy watching his BJJ on display.
 
I don't necessarily have a preference, I just appreciate a wide-array of characters. From the soft spoken, humble dudes to the brash **** talkers. I wouldn't like it if everyone were one way or the other

Speaking of Maia he's out of UFN 49 with a injury. So Jordan Mein will fight Mike Pyle.

Anyone following the Josh Grispi incident? He was arrested twice in 4 days for assaulting his wife. In addition to attacking his wife, he supposedly trained hit pit bull Buddy to attack her. Cops are saying its the worst case of domestic abuse they've ever seen. Even the texts he sent to his wife that were released in court records are insane. No wonder Dana was quick to correct Sports Illustrated and say that Grispi isn't a current UFC fighter and hasn't been in the organization for over 18 months.
