I dont think ppl appreciate how good aldo really is.
He's possibly the most complete fighter in the world right now.
#2 p4p in the world, fool hasn't lost in 10 YEARS! 18 STRAIGHT!!!!!
if he was 6'4 I believe he would beat jones.
Aldo is a TRUE complete mixed martial artist, every aspect of his game is just as good as the other, no weak links. + He still in his 20's!

Dude when your the Champion for as long as Aldo has been, you ALWAYS fight the divisions best, EVERY TIME (10 years and counting).
Its rare that championship fights end early based purely off the fact both fighters are EXTREMELY good (unless the contender was just weak)...neither are prone to make amatuer mistakes and both are on top of their game.
getting dominated 5 rounds >>> getting dominated 3 rounds>>>>sub >>>>> ko >>>>>split decision .
Aldo just goes out there and dominates guys exactly how Jones does, shuts them completely down for 25 minutes. Some guys win a round or 2, but thats about it man.
All aldo has been doing for 10 years is DEFENDING
he doesnt have to go out and knock peoples heads off, thats the CONTENDERS job, all aldo has to do is successfully defend whatever the contender throws at him, and thus far hes done it fairly easy and in impressive fashion.

I'd love to rematch the world tour with he true Aldo translations. You can just tell they're not expressing the amount of vitriol and venom that he's been saying in Portuguese.
The fight is going to be insane after touching Aldo's neck and taking the belt. Hopefully, Aldo keeps his cool in the first two rounds.

Can't wait for the main event tomorrow.
But that Aldo vs Conor bout is gonna be epic. The UFC promoting the hell out of it and it's a ways out still. Conor as much as I think he's a clown he's a hell of a promotor.. dudes gonna get murdered though. Them Aldo leg kicks gonna have Conor crawling by the end of the night. Now I do think Conor does have a chance, but he hasn't fought anyone really elite yet.. so we haven't really seen him tested. Aldo has been through all the top contenders in the division.

Well then it's a good fight for Connor. This will definitely test his skills.
I heard on the MMA Report that Connor possibly tweaked his knee training with Rory McDonald.
Hopefully, injuries don't derail that card. No disrespect to Lawler/McDonald.

I DVRd it last night, was FFding to the weigh ins for the last 2 fights, saw her strip down and.....hol' up.
A bit worried about Masvidal. Never seen a fighter hit the stage in his sauna suit. But according to Cormier/Kenny, being 1/2 pound or so over was likely the result of a slight miscalculation.
Was on the road for 10 straight days and got home at 12:30am. Kind of loving my lazy afternoon with a live UFC card right now.

Jorge showing me exactly what I thought of him. Pretty good fighter (great boxer) but I don't see greatness written on him in any sense, especially in the best division in the UFC
