i see tons of hipsters in San Francisco with the same facial hair, haircut and tattoos. that whole look is pretty prevalent around here.

That look / style is popular in a lot of places now. Grown out beard, top bun / shaved sides & back haircut. I always see those types on tumblr being tattoo and beard product models. Wish I could grow a rick hall type of beard.
 
Smh, there is a rumor bubbling that Aldo got hurt this morning. And the fight might be in jeopardy |I :smh:

That sucks but if he's out of the fight, then I find it kinda funny after they spent so much money do those pointless staredowns all over the place.
 
Oh man I hope he doesn't pull out and he can at least out on a great right which be such a disappointment if this fight doesn't happen July 11

Jeez. So disappointed. I'm not sure what the value proposition for Connor to face Mendes if it could possibly lead to a loss and out of title contention. Connor needs to strike while the iron is hot.
 
I just looked up his record. He is on a four-win streak (Olieveri sp, Swanson, washed up Penn and Faber) but McGregor is a greater gate/ppv buys proposition at the moment. Honestly, I felt like Edgar should've fought Mendes over Faber. If he beat Mendes, there would be no question that he were the #1 contender.
 
How is it a question now? I know what the UFC's "rankings" are but those have always been nonsense.

He won 4. Cub was #1 (which, again, was nonsense) when he beat him.

Here's what most hysterical about their rankings. Chad is #1 contender at FW. Frankie is #2.

But Frankie is #14 P4P. And Chad isn't on the list. Which makes perfect sense :lol:

So they did the ridiculous TUF dance with BJ. And he beat Faber. Is that supposed to count against him?

Chad just beat Lamas. Cool. I think that was the 1st win of his career against a Top 5 guy in any division.

They both lost to Aldo. By the same score basically.

Crazy how Chad gets so much shine for losing because he landed some harder shots.

It's like the Gustaffson phenomenon all over again. Let's ignore everything else and just focus on how good you looked losing.

I will say though. The easy solution is definitely have Chad+Frankie fight.

But I'm sick with how this is going down. Hope the fight on 7/11 still goes down. But I don't want anything but the best Aldo in that cage.

I'm legit SAD at my desk right now :lol:

I wonder if they can plug Frankie + Chad in as co main under Robbie/Rory and move Conor/Aldo to later this summer if they need to.

Can the UFC afford the chance that Conor loses before he fights Aldo if it's not on 7/11?
