I don't know what I'm more excite about. Seeing Andy back in the cage, or Nick across from him screaming "Stockton Mother ******" :smokin

there's no way in hell the Silva/Diaz fight goes the distance, right? Is this fight going to be at 185lb?

^
If dana says there's no way the fight goes 5 rounds then it'll go all 5 rounds.

What are the chances they'll both showboat and taunt each other for the majority of the first round? It'd be funny to see.

Why do I feel like Diaz is going to get washed and then ride off into the sunset,

If that fights in Vegas, I may have to check it out.

Huge fan of both guys.

I gotta be in Vegas for the iHeart Festival and thinking of staying out West and trying to hit 178.

Wife will not be pleased.....

If Silva's chin isn't completely gone to hell, I have a hard time seeing him lose to Diaz. Feels like fighters started to figure out Diaz. Just don't stand in front of him and not move like BJ.

Red what makes you think a undersized, plodding Nick Diaz can put the volume on Anderson??

Because Anderson can't stop Nick from moving forward(no threat of take down) and Nick has the reach to strike with Anderson from the outside. Nick doesn't need to put Anderson against the cage to land because he knows how box  "at the end of his punches". I don't expect Anderson to be throwing heavy rear round houses either but who knows with that. With the way Anderson's chin has looked lately I wouldn't be surprised to see him hurt from some glancing blows. Plus it's a 5 round fight and that favors Nick who is a cardio machine. If Anderson was about 5 years younger things would be different because lets be real the anderson we've seen in the last 2 fights aint the same anderson silva we saw the last decade and Nick Diaz is a tough mofo who still in his prime.

Haven't even brought up the ground where Nick > Anderson

With all that said Anderson could come out and implement Condit's run and kick game plan for a snoozefest.

All of this no.

Very insightful response.

Lol

Like I said I dont predict a TKO or KO, but rather a long, 5 round peppering barrage by nick diaz. If it was a prime Anderson he would destroy Nick, but he's going to be almost 40 when they fight coming off serious injury+long layoff and two losses; one of which he got dropped from a punch he would of eaten with no problem in the past.

The taunting should be epic. Nick with his crossarmed, peekaboo taunts and Anderson with his wavy hands, wax on wax off taunts.

I don't understand how you can question Anderson's chin when he's only been knocked out once in a decade.

Nick is not faster than Anderson and lacks KO power. There might be some interesting exchanges if Anderson no longer has "matrix" mode tho

I guess that would be the perfect storm for Nick but it doesn't factor in what Anderson is capable of offensively.

We don't know what kind of condition he's going to be in after the lay off but its no so long ago that he was the most devastating finisher in UFC history and also one of the best counter punchers.

Plus Nick will have been off almost 2 years himself come fight time.
