bobby green tries too hard to counter-strike. dude needs to be more offensive with his attacks.

Dude, that's why when he was fighting Masvidal, I was hyped, then I wasn't, because they could literally both stand there waiting for the other dude to throw for 15 minutes :lol:
 
i really don't get bobby green at all. all these feints and movement but such a low output...

felt kind of bad for cub as he sat down after the 3rd, saw the face of a man that put in a lot of hard work and could feel it slipping away
 
I don't know if it was after round 3, but I felt the same.

I actually had a flashback to Pettis/Guida. Where Pettis just could not hang when it came to grappling.

But Pettis still got his.

And I hope the same is the case for Cub.
 
Green did pretty much the same thing against Thomson. Nobody want to see that ****. I'm glad he didn't steal this victory.

Frankie destroying Cub. Cub flat footed, had nothing for Frankie.. I don't see many FW's beating the Frankie we saw tonight outside of maybe Aldo. 

I feel like they aren't going to give Frankie the shot if Conor beats Siver.
 
Watched the main events of the Fight Night.

Barbosa with the old stick and move. He had some crisp striking. That head kick was ill. Green really didn't do anything except taunts. I can tell he was frustrating but it's mix martial arts. He should of tried to leg kick more and tried more take downs>GNP or dirty cage fighting after B's mobility was reduced.

I can't believe Green went to complain to the match maker after the first round.

Frankie dominated Cub Swanson even with those pitter patter pillow punches. The volume of strikes and take downs is insane.

Cub just gave up after that neck crank.

I don't think Edgar should get a rematch with Aldo. Give it to Conner. You're going to get more money with Conner.

Edgar should fight Mendes. That would be a great fight. If Frankie wins, then he could get the winner of Aldo/McGregor.

If they don't give Edgar a title shot I think it's an interesting decision between putting Frankie against Mendes or Lamas. 

I do believe Edgar deserves a title shot regardless of what Conor does against Siver but the money will be too tempting to turn down not to put the Irishman in there

Politics and finances be damned, we as fans are not seeing a penny of what Lorenzo and Dana are raking in. Edgar is most deserving at featherweight. 3 straights wins, dominated Cub and even secured a late finish. His first bout with Aldo was highly competitive, enough to warrant a rematch. Regardless of what "KoD" does to Siver in Boston. Any matchup including two of the three is fair: "Money," "Bully," and Conor.

Conor has been calling out the FW division for being slow and too traditional with movement.. does anyone really see Conor beating Frankie last night? Frankie's chin is all-time I don't see Conor testing it. Frankie's movement threw Cub way off made Cub look like a deer in headlights.

I'd love to see a Conor Frankie battle or even Conor Mendes/Lamas.. I can't wait to see Conor take on a wrestler.

Everyone was hyped for the last fight and Frankie couldn't do a damb thing against Jose. I give Frankei props on the performance, but will never hop on his hype train

-My first thought after seeing that beating Edgar handled out last night was "Well dmab,I guess BJ isn't so washed up after all..."
 
Given that McGregor wins against Siver, I don't see Frankie getting the next title shot. Kinda hope they go with Mendes/Edgar and Swanson/Bermudez.
