The MMA Thread: DON'T ASK 4 STREAMS & NO GIFS- O’Malley v Vera on NOW

Shogun was well past his prime. He barely beat an old man Mark Coleman and TKO'd a well past his prime liddell to earn a title shot against Machida.

Rampage- Barely got passed Keith Jardine (knockdown at end of fight won it for him). Lost to Rashad, beat lyoto but that was questionable, then fought Matt Hamil to a decision. This guy is not in his prime for sure.

Lyoto- Lost to Shogun and rampage before beating an old man Couture to earn a shot at Jones

Rashad- Ill accept that one despite how undersized he is

Those are the 205ers that built his resume.
Shogun wasn't well past his prime IMO

He beat machida twice IMO

He may have been injured in that fight and jones just took his soul

Lyoto only suffered one bad loss before fighting Jon

Rampage hadn't really been impressive so I'll give you that. By no means was that an easy fight though he was still one of the best in the world

We can go through gsp and andersons resume and nitpick too

You can nitpick Fedor's resume as well. And most certainly Anderson's.

You can't just focus on the fights on Jones' resume you view as "questionable" and ignore the great fighters he beat in his and their prime.

I don't really do the "all time thing", but any argument you would make against Jones could easily be made against anyone else you'd apply that title to.

If Aldo gets and wins that 2nd McGregor fight, he'd be right there.

I agree I feel there is more to a goat than just resume. I personally feel fedor has a solid enough resume. Ive always liked fedor because he found ways to win despite being a very undersized heavyweight. He was not as physically gifted as some of the other guys. That's one reason why i choose fedor but thats personal opinion. I respect and understand some of the arguments against him as well.

Belfort getting a dose of head kick then gets finished like the Weidman fight.

I have a feeling Bisping will dominate with his boxing but gets dropped like last time.

Bisping way too focused on that left high kick that Parillo was talking about man

SO DAMN CLOSE sheesh

That is the best recovery I have seen since Jon Snow.

I legit thought Hendo was about to kill ole boy on the gorund

Cot damn Hendo is making the same face he made when he was getting choked out by Silva. He is GASSED
