UFC 189 is ridiculous, they already have 6 main card worthy matches

Of course the one time the UFC comes to San Diego they put on a crap main event of Mir/Duffee AND it's on a Wednesday

 Can't even make a weekend out of it. Would have been my first ever UFC event too

Only MMA event I've been to was Fedor/Arlovski in Anaheim which was a STACKED card, I didn't realize how special it was at the time
 
Personally, I wasn't a fan of how uninterested he was about his upcoming fight on the last FN card.

I'm not really interested in seeing him fight again.

Sucks that UFC got egg on their face for resigning him.
 
I'm watching friday night fights on espn2 and this heavyweight lenroy thomas looks like a hulked out jon jones.
 
Just watched some Bellator and WSOF from last night

Lol at the main event in the WSOF, Branch was owning his opponent in the stand up and then took his opponent down. The commentators were like "why did he do that? the fight was his", Branch a few seconds later gets the choke out

Randomly watching WEC 48, when Korean Zombie was making his promotional debut against Leonard Garcia, **** was as insane as I thought I remembered

Apparently it was the WEC's only PPV before being merged with the UFC. They didn't print WEC anywhere, not on the ring, not on their gloves and the broadcasters were Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg

They showed the Road to the Octagon for Machida v Rockhold, they had Romero still in it. I can't believe this dude got injured thsi close to the freaking fight. Romero looked like he was on steroids again

It was a rare situation to have 4 guys who had a legit claim for a title shot.

If Rockhold somehow manages to rape Machida then he might get an immediate shot. Otherwise the winner of that fight will probably be fighting Jacare next.

I wish they didn't make the Rockhold Machida matchup. I want to see Rock hold Weidman while Rockhold still has his confidence. I think Rockhold is a pretty big middleweight and has the skill to test Weidman, but I got a feeling Machida is gonna whip that ***.
 
If you think Rockhold ain't got nothing for Machida then why do you think he would fare well against Da Chris??
 
Counter Striking? Spacing? Movement? I'd put as pluses in Machida's column.

I haven't really seen Machida do too much BJJ so Rockhold might have him in this regard.
