The MMA Thread: DON'T ASK 4 STREAMS & NO GIFS- UFC 300 ON NOW

That TD was niiiice.

And he was in there throwing multiple elbow combos like a Tekken character.

Condit back!

happy for condit, sad for my man thiago, gotta deal with that nose and even worse that scalp, hes paying for those "supplements" and extreme weight cuts

Dude doesn't even shave his head before fights anymore. He just wants to enjoy what little hair he has left. He's had a big bald spot for years.

Condit been a savage :smh:

If he doesn't have to sweat takedowns he gets loose on ******.

Matt Brown, Lawler, Rory, Hendricks. I want to see him fight all these guys. Easily my favourite fighter.

Oliveria and Lentz were tearing it up aswel. The pace in that fight was immense. Charles clinch work and submission game is super nasty :x

Man.. where was THIS Condit when he was matched up against Diaz? We were all honeyd___ed that night.

Also did anyone catch the Rony's wrist control attempt on Anik?

Brah I was about to post the same thing

Why didn't Los fight like this during the Diaz fight :smh:

He didn't fight like this against Diaz because Diaz is a different fighter.

So he fought a different fight.

Greg Jackson is still his trainer.

Yea. I think a lot of us were and still are disappointed because we've seen what he's capable of. I was excited when they announced the matchup only to be extremely disappointed with the overall fight. I wouldn't mind seeing them two go at it again.

He fought like that because it was for the title. Los been an aggressive attacking fighter his entire career.

But he instead did his best Alberto Contador impersonation against Nick :smh:

Different fighter. Different circumstances. The idea is still the same.

Fact is, Greg has been his trainer the whole time.

I'm not about to (nor did I ever) whine about how he fought against Diaz at this point. If you outland someone and they can't cut you off, you usually win.

Dude did his thing last night. I'm good.

People like blaming greg. It's true some of the time but they ignore that he trains other guys like cerrone, jones, and the running punching bag sanchez.

:rolleyes Not liking someone running and point scoring is whining now.

I'm not putting it on Jackson. I'm putting it squarely on Condit.

And ran and scored points, fine, he got his decision. His performance and strategy was disappointing to me as a viewer.

GSP controlled his *** in return doe. So I'm good.

Now we're going to bring up a SECOND 3 year old fight?

Back to 2015, looking forward to Poirier's 2nd fight at LW.

And for those of you that love a slugfest, hopefully Rothwell/Mitrione doesn't disappoint.

Yup. Nick had just finished running through strikeforce, including taking Paul Daley's best shots and taking him out in the first round, and then came straight to the ufc and beat the brakes off BJ. Not to mention just a month earlier Nate Diaz ran through Donald Cerrone like it was nothing. I think Condit fought like that because he really didn't trust his chances to beat Nick otherwise. And I'm not gonna fault him or any fighter for trying to fight smart but the guy literally turned his back and ran away from Diaz at times, which is something I've never seen him do against anybody else in the ufc ever, including against a dude like Johnny Hendricks who was out there one shotting guys like it was nothing. I mean it was like Nick Diaz was the damn boogie man or something. He got the win but it definitely wasnt his best moment.

Having said that he's been a beast in pretty much every other fight. And I give him credit for the gsp fight too, he had gsp in the most trouble he'd every been in up to that point since the Matt Serra fights. Looking forward to seeing what he can do if he gets the next title shot.

Dang yall trippin, I thought yall would get the joke...guess not.

Condit brings it every fight, jackson has minimal influence on how he fights. He did stick to the game plan in the Diaz fight and it won him the belt, if he fought how he normally does he probably would lost

As disappointing as the Condit/Diaz bout was, Condit hit Diaz with some HEAT

After re-watching a few times I was less and less angry with Condit. IMO Diaz also contributed to the lack of exchanges and I was/am a HUGE Diaz fan

That 'Greg jackson' response if so hacky at this point.

The guy handles Jones, Condit, Cowboy, Swanson, Arlovski, Diego, Dodson, Erik Perez etc....

Yeah, diaz needs his opponents to stay in front of him if he wants to have one of those crazy brawls. His fights in strikeforce were damn exciting because of that. His fight with daley is still one of my favorite fights ever.
