Sonnen doesn't care about losses, he's getting paid regardless. For some reason I see, Sonnen fighting DC and losing in the first round. Then if Belfort gets hurt or isn't license to fight in Vegas, Sonnen steps in for the title shot against Weidman. Stuff always works out for Sonnen when it comes to Dana.

But if I'm Joe Silva, I tell Jimi Manuwa to fall back and we'll find another fight for him. Then match up Gus vs. DC.

I think DC said he would fight a Heavyweight if he needed to, but sure as hell ain't gunna be Reem. He is out in Jamaica right now livin' that life.

Sonnen could step in but it would be risky. The hope would be for him to go out there and have a quick fight with no injuries or suspensions. But like you said, no way they scrap the Wandy/Sonnen fight. For one, the fight between him and Wandy is anticipated cause of all the heat and trash talking between those two. And its gonna help them sell Fight Pass subscriptions since the TUF season is gonna be shown exclusively on there. But they're also gonna want Sonnen on the Weidman card because the Memorial Day card is always one of their biggest cards, they want to pump up Weidman to superstar status especially with the absence of Silva and GSP, and Sonnen being on the card means people are going to buy it, so more people see him vs. Belfort.

Exactly... Chael said after the Rashad fight that Rashad was just too big for him and he couldn't get up once he was on top of him.  Fighting Cormier would be nothing more than Chael looking for a paycheck.

Just read this on Dave Farra's twitter. I guess Dana is doing a scrum or something with Vegas reporters. 

 Dana: We are working on "uniforms" for fighters so they don't have to scrape up sponsor $$. But it's not done yet, in the works.

What does this mean? That all fighters will wear the same UFC shorts with Harley Davidson, MetroPCS, and Tapout logos on them? And what happens with fighters like Jon Jones and others that have deals with Nike, Reebok, and other big name sponsors?

Lebron has a Nike deal but wears Adidas jerseys. I guess it will be up to the sponsors that are felt in the cold.

This a scummy move my the UFC unless they increase fighter pay to make up for the loss in sponsorship money.

I said this a million times to friends, their needs to be a Fighters union and a CBA.

Fair enough. I stand corrected on that note.

I just thought it would be counterproductive for DC to take an interim fight at HW when he wants a title shot against Bones quickly as possible. His window is smallest compared to Gus, Glover, Davis.
