So whats the difference between DC and Askren? DC as champion would be horrible for UFC's ppv buys. Just my opinion.

That DC actually finishes most of his fights? Has finished 10 of his 14 fights to Askren's 6 of 12. That Cormier has 6 KO's to Askren's 3. That Cormier actually is the best wrestler in MMA and Askren isn't even the best wrestler in his weight-class/a better wrestler than Hendricks who beat him in the 2002 Dream Team Classic.


Should I go on?


Actually make that 11 of his 15 fights after tonight. Lmao....You couldn't be more wrong in your assessment of DC.

What I meant was in style. A bunch of people on twitter are complaining about DC's style. How its boring, feels like the match is going in slow motion, it being so boring that it put Hendo to sleep, etc. Its the same thing that they said about Askren and that was one of the reasons Dana said he wasn't interested in signing him.

and a lot of people on twitter know jack **** about MMA, same way they know jack **** about boxing. Same fools want Floyd to engage in a slug fest and know nothing about defensive boxing, or even the point of boxing in the first place. They prolly think the philly shell is a type of seafood or something.


This is MMA, wrestling is the dominant base, and Cormier is the best in the world at it. I really don't care about what a bunch of casual fans on twitter have to say.


Dana didn't sign Askren because Askren priced himself out of a deal. Nothing more, nothing less. If he kept his expectations in check he'd be in the UFC. It's a business, and Dana knows how to curb fighter's egos.

Tj is putting on a masterful performance. The Dominick Cruz comparison Rogan just made is apt. It's this type of movement and footwork that is the reason why I always favored Cruz in a bout against Barao.
