Loved what I saw from Cowboy last night. Dude is a freight train right now. Don't like the Khabib fight for him though, I see Nurmy tossing him across the cage with relative ease.

I'm a total McGregor mark, getting amped up for this weekend. Might even crack and buy Fight Pass just to check it out :lol:

khabib would wreck showtime if they did fight for the title. horrible match up for pettis. it would be like the clay guida fight except worse. all these delayed fights suck.

Rankings are all mucked up because Bendo beat Cerrone twice already, so it's tough to rank Cerrone anywhere near the #1 spot even though he is on a pretty nice win streak. On top of that, Bendo has quality wins against Thomson (albeit a bit controversial) and Khablov. Further complicating things is the fact that RDA completely dominated Cerrone recently.

If Cerrone gets by Khabib then he for sure deserves a shot even though Bendo may have deserved a shot at Khabib before Cerrone.

Cerrone got beat by a lot of folks lol. He got dominated by all three of RDA, Pettis, Nate, lost to Bendo twice in the WEC.

However he's put himself in a position for a title shot, 4 straight finishes against legit opponents and with another win against everyone's favorite Khabib, you can't deny Cerrone a title shot. Everytime Cerrone got beat he went out and redeemed himself the very next fight.

It's crazy how he's put himself in this position but you can't deny him if he gets past Khabib. Like I said, Bendo perhaps deserved the shot against Khabib to begin with but what's done is done. If Bendo defeats RDA he perhaps just waits it out and his next fight could be for the title anyway.

Yeah just heard that too. Sucks for Khabib. The Khabib/Cerrone deal to fight was done then Khabib blew his knee out 20 mins after they finished it. Dana said Cerrone will fight someone else soon but a Nate Diaz rematch is "ridiculous"

UFC meeting with Carano on Monday. If they come to an agreement she will get the next title shot against Rousey in December. Gina is getting the shot because Dana thinks she did a damn good job against Cyborg and Cyborg was jacked up on "Mountain Dew" back then. 

Nate isn't getting a new deal. He got upset after Gilbert signed his new deal but he's not a "needle mover" so he's not getting a new deal. "If Nate Diaz was a massive needle mover we would have called him by now." Just my opinion but the more and more we see this back and forth between UFC and Nate about money, the smaller of the chances I think we see the proposed Silva/Diaz fight. Either Nick is not gonna wanna deal with them until they take care of Nate or he's gonna want an even higher amount to kick back to Nate.

They wanna make Weidman/Belfort next and like the idea of it being in Brazil but doesn't know if they can make Belfort's 1st fight after TRT there.
 
Smh at Khabib blowing out his knee, Cerrone aint got nobody to fight now. I'd like to see him face the winner of Bendo/RDA or Thomson/Green.
