The MMA Thread: DON'T ASK 4 STREAMS & NO GIFS- O’Malley v Vera on NOW

Wow. Good for Pitbull.

Reem has no allegiance to Jackson's, make Alistair/Andrei happen. That can EASILY headline a lesser FS1/Fight Pass card.

Church Street Boxing.

Does his BJJ at Renzo's academies.

I don't know why, but when I see Renzo Gracie Bronx, it cracks me up.

That must be the illest martial arts academy in America

Don't know. I'm always skeptical of fighters from other orgs.

WEC at 155 and under being the exception since those dudes were all pretty much fighting guys that were the legit best in their weight class.

Though Condit and a few others have made smooth transitions.

I just think Moraes gone as far as he can go in WSOF.

Seems Bigfoot can't take the shots when his Test levels aren't through the roof.

I know that feel.

Braulio Estima's Gracie Barra school is in my hometown Birmingham, England.

**** is like on top of a gas station. It's super random

Will be interesting to see how a crazy active fighter like Cowboy looks against a dude as inactive as Eddie. Not his fault, but since Oct. 2012, he has only seen Chandler in the cage.

Eddie is probably more talented, but the mythical combination of "ring rust" and "UFC jitters" have me leaning towards Cowboy taking home the W.

I go back and forth on Eddie

Interested to hear how Eddie is "more talented", I could see maybe a better boxer and wrestler. Cowboy is a wizard on the ground and a mauler with his kickboxing

It will be a nice barometer for Eddie

I guess by more talented, I meant more refined. His boxing is crisper and smarter, while Cowboy's kickboxing is just visually wilder, but still pretty damn precise.

Hope my fav fighter of all tiem Gomi can pull this one off. :pimp:

that kyung ho kang vs michinori tanaka gon b interesting
Gomi's fight with IVF was one of my favorites to watch live. Both dudes basically agreed to slug it out, trading for two whole rounds. He's going out to KO Jury or get finished himself. Don't see a decision either way in this one.

"Ace" is going to KO Sato in the first round.

I'm afraid Tanaka is going to win a decision, his Judo is top-notch. "Mr. Perfect" has good to great BJJ, but do not see him tapping Michinori.

I don't know if y'all are watching TUF but I'll be rooting for Calderwood tonight.

Left this out of my recap, her and some of the other TUF 20 girls, Markos was one of them, walked by the men's room line at Foxwoods and started cracking on us at how long it was (It was of ridiculous). None of us had any clue who they were at the time, just thought they were some random girls. They were all dressed up. Heels, hair done, knock-off Leger dresses, etc. And NONE of them seemed all that comfortable

Calderwood's accent had me thinking about some things...

^
I actually watched the first episode. Not bad. Some of the girls are cute. Joanne Calderwood would get it even with her weird haircut.
