:{:x Absolutely sick of rematches. Come on :{

We don't need a trilogy this soon

I'm ready to see the other contenders at WW get their shots. Rory, Lombard, Woodley

****, Hendricks didn't even sound like he wanted an immediate rematch. Jesus

Yea, I'm pissed, BUT...

"It's all good," MacDonald said. "I'm just gonna light up whoever is next. Like always."

Good guy Rory, but still, **** this man. Never believe a damn thing Dana says about promising title shots

Give me Rory v Condit II

**** it

Condit supposed to be back in March or April, make it happen Dana you son of a *****

I wouldn't mind seeing it, but I don't think Condit deserves that fight being 1-3 in his last 4 fights.

Then again, I don't think Hendricks really deserves a rematch after that stinker of a performance, so...

I'm honestly getting more and more upset at the thought of Lawler Hendricks III

I mean, for Christ sake, Hendricks would be fighting Lawler three times in a row

Condit might not deserve it but there isn't anyone else really, plus Condit has lost to only the best lately. And he did blow his knee out against Woodley albeit he was losing. I'd just like to see it because Rory has always wanted revenge for that L

Dana is a real piece of work though, he prides himself on making fights that the fans want to see

Jones will stun DC with some fast strikes, get him off his feet while dazed and then choke him FTW

That's what I'm wondering though, will Jones be able to keep it standing for long? DC going to get right up in his grill and use that belly to smother him. I don't want a snoozefest :\

Lawler said he wants to fight in May, June or July. Why not just have Hendricks v Rory at that March card thats supposed to be in Canada. With the winner getting Lawler at the Memorial Day or 4th of July weekend card.

Best thing about Bones is he is a rare guy who has length who super effective with his short strikes. His elbows in tight are amazing. You can smother a rangy guy who absolutely needs space to get off, but walking in on someone who is comfortable throwing short fast shots is a different game. We'll see if DC can do it.

Yes, that would be logical. Just do that please if you're not going to give Rory the shot. Lawler repeatedly said he wanted to take a break after fighting so many times in 2014. He needs a break anyway.

True, good point. I think DC knows that though and will adjust accordingly... to make it even more boring. And I love DC. He just knows how to make a fight super entertaining and also super boring. He's done both.

It's best not to believe anything he says. Dude is a big liar and always lying.
How many times will Dana favor Hendricks, dude has lost 2 out of his last 3 and all are title fights. Smh

At least book them against other fighters even if they will be in the same card.

They're gonna go with Hendricks v Lawler 3 because right now it looks like UFC 181 got around 400K ppv buys and in this current market thats a big number considering others were getting 150k-300k buys.

If Dana goes through with this match and then skips Frankie in favor of Conor I think that would be a real bad look, and that's coming from a Pro-Dana person

Rashad vs. Glover is in the works.

I agree but even Frankie admitted that he thinks Conor is gonna get the next shot. Granted that Conor gets by Siver, I wouldn't be shocked if he gets up to #3 or #2 in the rankings. Then the narrative will be that he's ranked high, Edgar just lost to Aldo, and how "its the fight fans are asking for", so he'll end up getting the shot with Frankie probably getting Lamas or even Mendes.

Also don't be shocked if the Silva/Diaz winner gets the next 185 lb title shot.

Frankie knows what's about to happen. Conor will get the shot if he beats Siver. If this were on its own, I wouldn't really care that much, but couple that with Hendricks v Lawler III obvious money grab, then I start to worry.

As far as 185, if Romero/Jacare and Rockhold get skipped over too... :x:{ that's not right man

Who's the dog in the jones/dc fight? Really hope this fight lives up to the hype I'm dying to see it go into the 5th and someone who's no decision

Would love to see Siver with the upset.

Wow, Poirier going back to 155

"I'm big," he wrote via text message. "The cut made me hate the process of getting ready for a fight. I was focused on how to make weight instead of how to beat my opponent. It's sucks to drop out of the rankings, but it has to be done. I'm 180 right now and in great shape."

Poirier most recently lost via first-round TKO to Conor McGregor in September. He returns to the lightweight division after going 8-3 as a featherwieght. He did not provide any details on his next fight.

The 25-year-old Poirier started his MMA career 8-1 as a lightweight, however, he decided to switch weight classes prior to his UFC 125 fight against Josh Grispi in 2011. Poirier defeated Grispi via unanimous decision and subsequently won three more fights in a row before losing to Chan Sung Jung in May 2012.

"I want to fight the fights that fans want to see," he continued. "I'm excited to reintroduce myself at a more natural weight.

"Been a long time coming."

Out of the frying pan and into the fire...

He's young so he has time to develop but i don't see him breaking into the top 5 at LW.

I remember he would always always talk about food leading up to fights. I don't see how he ever gets to be the elite of 155 either, but happiness definitely counts for something. I think he'd rather be losing and eating than losing and starving lol

guy stands a better chance at 145 than 155, not that it means much though

Aldo:

"I hope he’s [McGregor] next because it would be a huge fight," Aldo said during a Q&A session before UFC Fight Night 58 official weigh-ins in Barueri, Brazil, on Friday.

McGregor is 4-0 in the UFC, but Aldo doesn’t believe he’s good enough to fight for the gold. However, he wants the challenge.

"We have to look at both sides of the situation," Aldo explained. "He talks a lot, so it makes you more excited to fight. It makes it more intense. I hope he’s next and that we can do a great fight.

"He’s a tough fighter, but we haven’t seen him against a top 5," he continued. "He’s not ready, but the promotion he does is good. He’s a good athlete. He talks a lot. If he doesn’t talk that much, he wouldn’t be where he is today.

"I see Chad (Mendes) as the best of them. If you put (Frankie) Edgar, Conor or (Ricardo) Lamas, he beats all of them on the same night."

McGregor faces Dennis Siver in Boston on Jan. 18, and Aldo favors him to win.

"I’m rooting for Conor," he said. "Like it or not, I hope he wins because I will win a lot by fighting him."

Aldo on TJ:

"I would love to (fight him)," Aldo said with a laugh. "I really hope that fight happens, it would be great."

Aldo, who holds wins over Team Alpha Male products Urijah Faber and Chad Mendes(twice), eyes his fourth win against the team.

"I think he’s trying to promote himself, that’s why he’s saying that," Aldo said. "I would love to beat him up. It would be great to end my story with those three with a golden key."

Is he wrong about Chad though??

He's the most dangerous and based on performances he gave Aldo the most to think about. I could see him edging Frankie and Ricardo.

GOAT murders him though pimp.gif
