This fracture will take approx 3-6 months to heal completely. But it will be mentally taxing on Silva to start training and getting back in it again. I say he's done.

Of course he's going to be ecstatic, he just defeated the greatest mixed martial artist of all time and is now the undisputed, undefeated middle weight champion of the world......

Fam lost his ******g house and was damn near broke after the hurricane, he can't raise his arms in victory? He can't be happy for himself? He checked on Silva, he was clearly concerned once he realized and saw just how badly hurt Silva was.

SMFH. Im done.

Calm down.

Fair point, but if we're going to use Silva/Franklin fights as a definition of domination that's lofty standards.

I would consider Weidman's total control of both fights as domination, add to the fact that Anderson never once threatened Weidman, not even for a single moment, and that's why I say Weidman dominated him.

What ronda did was classless.. What weidman did was not.

The thing was, Silva put WAY too much power into that leg kick. Weidman checking it put all that force to rest and snapped his tibia immediately.

Wow. All I have to say is wow. Out of the million ways you could have predicted that fight to end, that was not one of them...

Sucks to see the GOAT go out like that.

AND If Ronda's last name was Diaz the place would have erupted in applause after that. Fine with what she did.

the Diaz bros wouldn't even do that

missed the ronda tate fight but if it was after the fight, nick's usually very respectful after fights

Don't see anything wrong with what Weidman did.

He was obviously happy he won, can't blame him for being excited about that.

Not like he stepped on Anderson's leg afterwards then flipped him off.

Nick even raised GSP's hand after Diaz got his *** beat. He still said a bunch of B.S. after most of his losses though :lol

Hate to see the GOAT go out like that especially like that, but a part of me was hoping Weidman would win tonight so we could see Lyoto run the table through this division smokin.gif

Damn I just read what happened. If I'm 100% honest I've never been into MMA for this reason.

Random story, but ages ago (like almost 15 years ago) I was watching some random sports show and they showed some kickboxer getting his standing leg snapped. It sounded like a baseball bat breaking and dude fell to the floor instantly....I was scared for life.

Whenever I've joined my friends to watch a fight I was always on edge throughtout thinking it could happen, (yeah I'm soft I know). Although I enjoyed their first fight, thankfully I didn't join my boys tonight to watch this live.

Best of luck to Silva though, what a way to go out (last two fights). mean.gif

How so tho bro? I mean that's his thing though bro. His antics baited opponents, unnerved them, it was a tactic that helped him immensely throughout his career. How does Weidman get discredited for beating Silva while Silva fought how he always fought?

Makes zero sense to me.

I'm saying.. Even though I wanted my dude Anderson to ko that bastard so bad.

Weidman has earned it.. He did what no one in the Ufc has done. Not once but twice.. The first one was whatever he took advantage of openings Silva gave him and this one he checked a leg kick what he was supposed to do.

Props to weidman

I think Belfort has Weidman's number. Dude is too hungry and determined right now.
