The MMA Thread: DON'T ASK 4 STREAMS & NO GIFS- UFC 300 ON NOW

DC let a coke head beat him

No wonder DC's takedowns were ineffective.

He was going up against that crack head strength.

Seriously though, Wow.

Not a good look for JBJ or the UFC at all.

Hope Bones gets himself together.

If he failed the test Dec. 4th why was he even able to fight?

This dude is something else, tho.

I hope he gets help .Its obvious the pressure of the belt has been getting to him and the fact he is hated by many fans and the UFC has issues with him has been eating away at him for quite sometime .This bout and the lead up to it had to have been real taxing on him .He definitely needs some time away from the sport and the culture around it.Chuck ,Tito and quite a few other dudes have done coke ,meth and other stuff but they were celebrated for being hardcore partyiers.

Just read the article.

Sounds like a recreational user. Tested positive 1st then cleared 2nd Test.
Entering rehab gives him much needed sympathy points

I agree. some athletes embrace being the villian, Jones on a couple of occasions has mentioned that he doesn't like being portrayed as the bad guy. Similar to when LBJ was in Miami, he never looked comfortable getting booed and being hated. When he said before the DC fight that the whole wrestling community was rooting for DC, he said it motivated him but I think it also depressed him.

Good thing he went immediately to rehab, gotta save those public relations before this gets out of hand.

Daniel Cormier found out about Jon Jones' failed pre-fight drug test for cocaine metabolites on Tuesday, just before the news broke.

Cormier, who lost to Jones via unanimous decision on Saturday night, provided this statement to MMAFighting.com:

"I am aware of Jon's test and if there is anything to say it is this: there are a lot of people you impact, so please let's get it together. Good luck on your rehab!"

Wow kudos to dc. If he dropped this bomb during fight week, jones probably would of broke mentally. Ufc probably paid him a handsome ransom though. They got a lot of explaining to do. Reebok taking another L.
