man, i remember when kid yamamoto was the **** and everyone wanted the "super fight" between him and urijah; now, dude is on the undercard and is completely irrelevant.
i remember that video of dana holding some japanese magazine with kid on the front of it and saying "I want this guy in the UFC so bad". times change so fast.

ronda's transitions during that scramble are ridiculous. she's ******** on these girls. the disparity in skill level is worse than when royce gracie was running through pseudo black belts back in the 90s.

I imagine things could've been different had they brought him over at his prime and had him fighting at his natural weight and/or 143 like he was doing in the beginning in Shooto.

Holm looked nice and composed in there.
And lord knows her camp won't have her out there making a ridiculous opening move like Cat did.
Not saying she can compete to the level of winning. But at least give us a fight. At this point I think Meisha and that one chick that had the one sub attempt (I forget which fight) are the only ones that have managed that.

Not unless her bosses really push and pressure her into it. She's said numerous times she'd only fight her at 135 pounds. She avoided her in Strikeforce and doesn't want any part of her now. But as The Millionaire Dollar Man said, everybody has a price.
